I press the button to call the elevator, tired from quite the day at work and ready to go home to my girlfriend, Esmerelda. With my brief case in one hand, I pace in front of the elevator doors, occasionally checking my wrist watch to see what time it was. Hearing the soft ding of the Elevator reaching this floor. When the doors open, I wait for the people to get off before getting on. I press 10 for my floor and go to step back when I see a hand move into my vision, pressing the 9 button. I look over my shoulder once the hand has retracted seeing a man in a suit, his fedora tipped forward, shading his face. Turning back forward, I try to shake the cold feeling I got from his presence. Once it hit the floor before his, it stopped, the doors opening to reveal a dark hallway with flickering lights. The walls had pealing paint that seemed to slowly roll down the wall as if someone was sitting there pulling on it. I click the close door button a few times, the lights in the elevator start to flicker. I turn to speak to the man to find he had disappeared. Turning back forward, I let out a yelp, coming face to face with the man, his grey-skinned deformed face only inches from me as his eyes glowed red and his canines elongate. I feel paralyzed as fear struck me right to my core. Not even a second later, darkness consumed my vision as distorted, deep laughter echoes in my head.

I know this is short, but its just a prologue. I promise I'll be writing more in the next part to be released. Please leave comments on why you think of it. Thank you.
