Forgive and Forget

Lunch

(This is continuing where we left off in the first part so yeah enjoy!)

"Hey there's a table over there we can go sit at"

"Ok, sure"

"Mei, do you have lunch from school or from home?"

"Oh, I have home lunch I made it this morning!"

"Oh nice, I have school lunch so can you go and save me a seat and I'll come to join you?"

"Sure!"

I head over to the lunch line and pay for school lunch. Today's lunch is Rice with Fish and Miso Soup.

"Hey, Shaun!" Mei says out of nowhere

"Shit, you scared me!"

"Oh sorry I thought you couldn't find me so I went looking for you"

"Oh, thanks!"

We both walk to the table and sit down

"Hey, you want some of my food yours doesn't look too good."

"No I'm fine you can have it."

"You sure?"

"I'll be fine"

"Ok!"

"This is food sucks I'll go get some chips for the vending machine I'll be back."

"Wait, Shaun, If you want you can have some of my food"

"You sure I don't wanna take your stuff?"

"Yeah, I have some spare chips if you want!"

"Thanks"

"What class do you have after this?" Asks mei

"Uhh, I think I have chemistry what about you?

"Lemme check"

"Hey, show me your schedule for a sec."

"Sure."

I hand her my schedule.

"Woah we have the same schedule"

"I wonder if other people do?"

"Hmm, maybe"

"Wanna walk outside for a bit?"

"Yeah, sure!"

We both go outside and start walking. We walk around campus and talk until the bell rings.

"Hey Shaun, did you bring your backpack?"

"uh FUCK"

I then sprinted down campus to the lunch room while Mei was trying to follow me.

"Jesus your fast"

"Thanks but we gotta go to Chemistry or we'll be late"

We both barely make it to Chemistry and find a seat next to each other somewhere near the back.

Mei's POV

I barely made it to Chemistry with Shaun and we were able to find a seat together. After a while, Shaun fell asleep. I'll let him sleep and take notes for him he must've gone to bed late.

"Ok everyone finds a partner to do this project with you will be researching how an animal of your choice has evolved over the years as its habitat has changed you may only work with groups of 2. "

"Wake up sleepy head"

"Mei? How long was I asleep for?'

"A solid 20 minutes"

"Shit, what did I miss?"

"Well, we're going to do a group project on how an animal has adapted to its changing Habitat or something."

"Wanna be partners?" I ask Shaun.

"Sure uhh lemme get my computer and we can start"

Shaun's POV

"Hey Mei, you there?"

"Oh sorry I spaced out"

"It's ok, want to work on this next class, cause class is almost over."

"Sure let's pack up"

We started packing up and went to the library for our break. We took a walk around campus for a while and then went back to the library.

"We have 2 more classes until the days over I can't wait to go home this day felt so long."

"Same!"

*Bell Rings*

Mei's POV

I get up and stretch

"Ready to go to Composition?"

"Yep let's go."

"Wanna get something to drink from the vending machine?

"Yeah, why not?"

"Shaun, have any change I can borrow I can pay you back?"

"I'll just buy it for you don't worry."

"Aw, thanks!"

"No Problem

Shaun and I go to composition and take a seat in the back. The teacher drones on about a lecture for about two hours and before you know it Class is over!

"Cmon Shaun the days over, we gotta get going!"

Shaun fell asleep(yes again)

"Jeez, what time have you been going to bed every day?"

"Pretty late"

"I'll see you tomorrow Mei I'm heading over to my dorm now bye!!"

"Bye Shaun!"
