Forgive and Forget

Mei's POV

*Beep Beep Beep Be-*

"Aw shut up you stupid alarm," I say as I wake up.

I better get ready for today's orientation. I think to myself. I take a shower get dressed grab my bag and walk to Dunkin Donuts got to get breakfast.

"Hi, can I get a Boston Creme and a medium hot chocolate?"

"Sure that will be $5.47"

"Ok here you go"

I take my food and go eat in the library until it's time for the orientation.

"ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS. PLEASE REPORT TO THE GYMNASIUM FOR THE ORATION DAY ASSEMBLY"

"Morning Mei!" Shaun said

"Oh hey I didn't see you at all, are you going to the assembly?"

"Naw, I might just show my face and then dip"

"I might stay just so I can see what it's about"

"Good idea I'll decide when I get there"

"Sure let's go"

Once we get to the gymnasium Shaun and I find a place to sit in the bleachers.

"EVERYONE PLEASE QUIET DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION THIS IS YOUR DEAN OF SCHOOL SPEAKING"

"I am aware that all of you are juniors to this school and I look forward to enjoying this year which you. This school is different from others. In this school to pass you need a 90 or above. There is a reason you passed the placements here"

The teacher kept on rambling about how it's important to maintain high grades.

Shaun's POV

"Mei I'm gonna leave wanna come with me?"

"I'm good I'll stay here I'm kinda interested about what he's saying"

"All right I'll see you in Math"

I grab my backpack and try to sneak out.

"HEY, WAIT RIGHT THERE WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING?!"

I hear a voice say behind me. I look back and see a small girl running after me. I immediately start running while she "desperately" chases after me. After about 5 minutes running around the school, I lose her and I head to the café to grab some breakfast.

"Hey, can I get a medium cup of coffee with cream and 2 sugars with a bagel?"

"Sure! That will be $3.89."

I pay and find a small table at the front of the coffee shop and eat while looking at my Instagram on my phone.

All of a sudden a girl who's probably on the student council comes running in my direction and sits in the chair next to me. She sits there for a while trying to catch her breath.

"Hey you need to come with you violated a rule of this school"

"I'm sorry, do I know you?"

"No, I'm part of the student council and your coming with me."

"Hell naw," I say. I grab my coffee and start running while she tries to chase me again. I quickly run to the auditorium and find Mei who's somewhere in the back

"Mei we need to go," I say, I grab her arm and I bring her with me to the library.

"What happened?"

"This person from the student council was trying to chase me for leaving the orientation"

"God damn, Shaun you're a dumbass"
