Everything she's been wanting
What she had been searching for
Was right there at her feet
Waiting for her to accept it
But she was scared
Too scared of being let down again
Afraid of it not being for her
And terrified of the consequences
Lost in a maze of thoughts
Horrified by her own self
She wanted to ruin everything
Because she did not deserve them
And she ruined it
With a sinking feeling
It all slipped through her fingers again
Only this time she knew it was her fault
