In the middle of dark

Their best life

And all of a sudden
The blue sky started to redden
The world was in chaos
People behaving like in a sceance
Panic settled everywhere
Everyone afraid of breathing the air
People swarmed into supermarkets
Memes were flooding the internet
Like ants who found sugar
Rushing to get all the toilet paper
Trampling over each other
Not even caring about another
Fighting over the silliest things
As if it was a battle between kings
Shelves being emptied
At an extreme speed

Everyone found themselves stuck
Their eyes were awestruck
Stuck into their homes with no one else
But their families
On the edge of losing their sanity
Boredom came knocking on their doors
These don't happen everyday, do they?
Scared were they
Of going out of their minds
But that was just the start of something bigger
It was time for them to figure

A beautiful change started happening
When they thought life had lost all meaning
Family members interacted with each other
They started getting close together
They did stuff that helped them heal
And finally started to feel
Some did activities they never thought doing
They were happy without them knowing
The world started healing itself
They could not believe it themselves
And when everyone could go out again
They were free of all pain

The world was seen with new eyes
And minds that has become wise
They saw all the beautiful things
It had to offer them
Like finding a gem
With positive minds they started anew
