—Say You Won't Let Go, JAMES ARTHUR
I JUST STOOD THERE, STARING AT THE WALL, which only had posters of famous people and a few stains of blood and beer. I am currently at a bar, a type of bar where men fought a lot and drink, and get drunk, obviously. Earlier 'mua' had just had a discussion with my boyfriend — who is a non-concern-your-girlfriends-opinion type of guy— "we" already had plans on getting married. Well, the truth was that Dave had them, but, I didn't.
He did not have a chance to pick whether to get married or not. Dave didn't even ask me, in a romantic way, he just told me. And that I despised. I hate to say but think I love Dave Harley too much too let him go, but I am definitely not ready to get married. Come to think of it I am at the bar drinking a can of soda. A CAN OF SODA. NO TYPE OF DRINK. JUST SODA! If I'm not even ready for the actual drinking, what makes him think I wanna get married this fast?
"Still drinking soda thinking it's like a drink of alcohol?" He gave me a cock like a grin while he served a couple of drinks to people sitting a few chairs away from me. He had a white blouse with the collar folded on the tip at each side, and a black bow on, and on top of that a black apron.
"Yup" I sipped the last bit of the soda left in the can.
"Let me guess, your upset at your boyfriend."
He passed her another can of soda."Yeah, he wants to get married next year, and I told him don't want to." I paused and opened the can of soda "The guy didn't even asked me in a romantic way, not even on his knees, after all, he just told me it like it would have agreed at the moment."
"That sucks,"
I nodded in agreement "I love Dave but, there's something wrong, I feel like if, something was missing. " I started slowly and meaningful but then continued rapidly. "But not physically," I said truthfully looking down. "But inside me, like if it's calling me, but I just can't tell what it's is."
I glanced at the tall brunette haired man. " But then again maybe it's my mother's voice in my head telling me to get a better life at New York city," I stated mockingly.
He chuckles "Your mother can't be that bad,"
"Not bad, annoying and obnoxious. Mostly that last one."
"That's what mothers do."
"What ruining your life each time she has the chance?" I retorted.
"I'm sure she does it for your good Sam, I know she loves you."
"Well sure she does, I know, I know. Well gotta get going. Anyways thanks for the hearing me Andy." I punch he's a left arm and walk away, walking straight to the oak wooden doors.
