Haley drove into the night, passing street light, each one blurred by the rain. She glanced in her rear view mirror, conscious of being followed. A mixture of the drops of rain from her hair and tears ran down her face, blurring her vision slightly but she couldn't stop, she knew if she stopped the car it would give her time to think, time to turn back and repeat the mistakes she had made so many times before. She had left him before, but she had never gotten this far, she knew this time was different, he had gone to far, she needed to get out, to get away from the fear, the hurt that she had suffered trough for so long.
