love hurts

she awoke in a daze scared out of her mind, she was drinking last night so she forgot she came home. she inched away from me to the wall. she grabbed a candle stick and told me to stay away from her. i tried to tell her that i would not hurt her, but she did not listen. 

she asked me if i was the cause of the man in the dumpster, i could not look at her it pained me to see the sadness on her face. i could not lie to her so i told her everything she told me that i am a monster and that i do not belong in a world with humans.

my brother elijah told me i did what was best for her that if i did anything differently then our love would be a lie and i could never do that to her.

she ran the water for a bath and she added bubbles. i come to the bathroom with a ring in my hand asking her to marry me.

she looked at me and said what is wrong with you why would i marry you. that tore me apart love hurts.
