you can not know love without hate

she says she hates me, she ignores me and says she will never love me again. but you can not know love without hate. it is just life i know she will come back she just needs time.

there's a knock on the door followed by another. i open the door and there she is crying telling me she was wrong that she can't go through life without me. she said she missed me and it would never happen again. i told her i forgive her and she says how do you forgive me i called you a monster and left you.

i placed a soft kiss on her lips and told her that everything will be okay as long as we are together i will not let anything happen to you. but i knew in my heart that would be a promise i would soon break and i would be alone. you can never know love without hate.
