"Let true loves kiss set you free."

"What a bunch of bullshit," I snorted as I set the newly released romance novel back on the shelf.

"Oh come on Ariel! You being the princess of the sea and falling madly in love with Prince Eric shouldn't sound so bitter," replied Mariah sarcastically.

"I'm crying do you always have to bring up The Little Mermaid references," I said as I laughed loudly, spitting my tea all over the table.

"You know you secretly love it," said Jennifer as she looked up from a book she was reading.

"What I do love is him," I replied gazing dreamily at the cute, but somewhat scrawny checkout guy at the front of the book store.

"Why don't you just talk to him already?" Mariah retorted as she glanced down at her phone.

"Why don't you just text your boyfriend already and see if he's actually coming down this summer," I replied with a smug look on my face.

"Okay, okay, lets just get a book and walk over to his register and see what happens," said Jennifer as she walked over and grabbed the book I had been looking at earlier.

"Oh come on, couldn't you have gotten a different book, like maybe one with zombies or a less cliché background?" I whined as both Mariah and Jennifer pushed me to the register.

My heart was pounding and my hands were all sweaty as we got closer and closer to the register. We went through this everyday, but I always had the same reaction. Honestly who wouldn't though! His brown hair that always shielded his amazing and thoughtful brown eyes. His deep voice that sent shivers down my body. And his whole just body and face were just like WOW! I continued my mental checkout of him when I realized he was a lot closer than before and OHDEARLORD!! HE'S SMIRKING AT ME!! MY HEART CANNOT HANDLE THIS. My breath hitched as I looked into his captivating brown eyes, holding my gaze smirking right back at him.

"I can't let him know what he does to me,"I thought as I tossed my long brunette hair.

"Hi, would this be all for you?" He asked as he smiled at me.

"No I want you!" my head screamed as I flashed him a smile and said,"Hey," and quickly scanned his uniform for his name even though I already knew his name, like last name and all, "Jason, and yeah that'll be it."

My heart was beating a million miles an hour and my breathing was getting heavier. I hope I didnt have one of my episodes.

"Please please don't let me have an episode not here, not in front of him," I silently pleaded.

I looked up from my purse and realized he had been looking at me.

Jason blushed when he saw that I caught him and nervously cleared his throat, "well that will be $12.95."

I handed him a twenty and gasped when his hand grazed mine. His hand sent tingles throughout my entire body.

"His hands are so soft," I thought as I watched him make change.

"Here you go," Jason called to me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

He handed me back my change and just as our hands were about to touch, everything went black.
