While Sammy was off on a case, Dean Winchester left the bunker to go get some food. He pulled on a leather jacket, hoping maybe he could pick up a chick while he was there. Dean jumped in the Baby, taking no notice of the storm clouds rolling in. He turned the music all the way up, and revved the engine. When he arrived at the Salt and Pepper Diner, Dean stepped out of his car, flipped up the collar of his jacket, and walked in. A cute waitress showed him to his seat, and he ordered a piece of cherry pie with a cup of black coffee. When she brought Dean what he ordered, he started unconsciously flirting with the woman. She immediately shut Dean down, saying
"I have a girlfriend... sorry."
"Was I - ? Oh shit I didn't mean -
I'm sorry I had no idea and I..."
Dean's face turned pink. Mortified, he paid for his pie, and walked out to his car. He started the engine, and sat there for a while, thinking about what had just taken place. He rubbed his eyes and looked in the rear view mirror at himself. Why...
"What the hell is wrong with me?" Dean muttered, hitting the steering wheel in frustration.
He started driving home, coffee kicking in and causing him to speed down the road back to the bunker.
"You're as smooth as Tennessee whiskey
You're as sweet as strawberry wine
You're as warm as a glass of brandy
And honey, I stay stoned on your love all the time"
Dean sang, trying to get his mind off of what happened at the Salt and Pepper Diner, but for some reason, the lyrics reminded him of Castiel.
"I've looked for love in all the same old places
Found the bottom of a bottle always dry
But when you poured out your heart I didn't waste it
'Cause there's nothing like your love to get me high"
He turned up the music. All of a sudden, Castiel ran out in front of the Baby, in the middle of the road.
"What the HELL!! "
"Hello, Dean" a gravelly voice said.
