I woke up to the smell of hazel tea and vanilla and new it was my mate. I went to the bathroom to use the toilet and after I washed my hands I changed into the outfit on the counter. I kinda don't want a mate. Then thought of having one scared me.

I brushed my teeth and hair and laid on the bed. For some reason I didn't want anyone to come into the room today. When the door opened to reveal Max I growled unhappily. He walked in and sat down on a chair across the room.

"Sorry, I have to keep you company," he said grinning slightly. "After I almost killed your idiotic brother," I snarled with a grin. Wow, I really am crazy. He glared slightly then shrugged. I slowly got to my feet and stalked over to him. When I was in reach of him I growled and tackled him. We rolled on the ground trying to get a good hold on each other. I leaned down and whispered in his ear, "They shouldn't have let you in," and banged his head on the ground. He fell unconscious so I got off and rolled him under the bed.

I stood up straight and was glad I found a pebble yesterday because I jammed it under the door so that it wouldn't lock properly today.

I walked out of the room and ran quickly down the stairs. People shouted a curse word at me when I shoved past them. When I was about to escape the intoxicating sent filled my nose again. The sent came from outside. I ran from the house but realized I was running towards the sent. I shrugged and kept running.

My nose was in the air sniffing and I didn't realize someone was in front of me until I fell to the ground surprised by the comforting sparks that crawled across my skin.
