-Graysons pov-
Grayson woke up with a headache, he really didn't wanna go into work today but he had to, not only because it was his first day but also because his father was his boss, and he couldn't let him down.
He pulled himself into a sitting position, yawning as he ran his fingers through his hair gently.
"Grayson?" His dad asked, opening the door some to look in.
"I'm up" the 20 year old said, sliding out of bed and toward his bathroom.
"Okay son, there's breakfast downstairs when your ready we leave in 45 minutes" His dad said, getting a nod from Grayson in response.
Once his dad left his room Grayson proceeded to go to his bathroom, shutting the door then turning the shower on.
He waited until it was warm before getting and doing his regular shower routine, slightly distracted by the nerves he was feeling.
He was slightly anxious about beginning his new job, but he and his father were both excited about this opportunity. His dad was the serif, and also a big part in the city's prison, and Grayson was into criminal counselling, he wanted to get inside a criminals mind and potentially help them.
When he got out of the shower he got dressed into proper work clothes before grabbing his phone and wallet than making his way downstairs.
His father was already dressed, sitting at the table and waiting for Grayson to eat so they could leave.
"I'm not hungry" Grayson said with no emotion in his voice.
Grayson had a problem with not eating, he just wasn't hungry anymore, he didn't think he deserved to eat anyways.
"Grayson" His father said strictly and Grayson rolled his eyes, sitting in the chair before starting to eat his breakfast, knowing he'd probably just throw it up later.
"So today is very important as you know, we have the perfect case for you to start..he's about you're age so I don't think you'll have much trouble getting through to him" his father explained as he ate, Grayson nodding along.
"What's his name?" Grayson asked.
"Dolan. Ethan Dolan" His dad said as he slid over a case file, making Grayson drop his fork then pick it up, quickly skimming through it.
He saw the kids mugshot first and bit his lip, already finding the boy attractive.
"This won't be difficult for you will it?" His father asked, picking up on Grayson's body language like he was trained to.
"Don't profile me, dad, I'll be fine" Grayson said as he put the file down then stood up.
"Alright then kid, lets go" his father said getting up with him.
The two made their way to the car, and soon they were in the prison building, walking down a long hallway with rooms at either side.
"He's in the last one, there will be no supervision except for cameras, so if you feel uncomfortable or threatened just press your white button" His father told Grayson before patting his back.
"Good luck" he said as Grayson continued walking, stopping as he got to the last door.
"Thanks" he told his dad before opening the door and stepping in.
