"So how are you treating my best friend, mystery boy?" Kaitlyn inquired the very second that we both got into the limo, her voice deepening for an intimidating effect.
"I-I uh, I think I d-didn't mess things up c-considering the fact that I'm here," Blurryface stuttered, his embarrassment obvious, making me squeeze his shoulder involuntarily for support. His face relaxed as he looked at me but then reddened as he turned to see the kissy faces Amy and Marie were making at us.
"We're not dating, just friends, okay Kate?" I countered exasperatedly, playfully rolling my eyes to face Blurryface who was as red as a tomato.
"Just 'friends'" Brianna mocked in high pitched voice, exaggerating my eye roll, earning playful giggles from the rest of the girls, which surprisingly, included me.
As I laughed, I saw Blurryface get redder as he tried to laugh along with us, and instantly recognizing his discomfort, I gave him a knowing smile before taking my phone, playing a random mainstream pop song. The rest of the girls took their minds off him quickly, scream-singing the song at the top of their lungs.
Just as I started to bop to the music, I felt a gentle tap on the shoulder, and I turned to see the happy face of Blurryface looking at me.
"Thanks for saving me, Crybaby," He said in my ear, making me smile wide at him before nodding enthusiastically at him.
Noticing that we were getting close to the hotel for the party, I grinned mischievously at him before taking off the jacket that I had on revealing the pink strappy dress on watching as he gawked at me for a split second before turning away. I turned away from the rest of the group feeling the roof of the limo for a couple seconds before pressing the sunroof button watching the rest of the group quiet down as the sunroof opened and the second it opened fully it was like you could see the real stars like the ones on the surface.
I watched as the others looked up in amazement at the sky for a minute, looking at their faces so full of wonder before landing on Blurry's face. He looked so happy and less tired than he usually did when I saw him. And for a strange reason, my heart just melted so much that without thinking I stood up through the sunroof, yelling the lyrics to the song that was currently playing
"I'M HAPPY AS FUCK," Blurryface yelled, as he popped up right next to me grabbing my hand letting his excitement pass over to me, "AND YOU MAKE ME HAPPY," he added, gently squeezing my hand.
"YOU MAKE ME HAPPY AS FUCK," I whooped, before grabbing his face and smashing my lips against his, hearing the disbelieving screams of the rest of the girls under us as he started to kiss me back.
Letting go of him, breathless and adrenaline-filled, I stared at his brown eyes in wonder as I studied his face. Was he surprised? Excited? Annoyed? I couldn't read his face and just as I was about to open my mouth to say something, anything we pulled up to the hotel, with a bunch of teenagers from our high school, as well as other schools, were waiting to go inside that noticed us pull up.
If I didn't already fuck things up with Blurryface, this party will certainly make me fuck it up entirely.
