The date is December 23rd, exactly two days before Christmas and it was Christmas Break. Kevin, Jughead, Veronica, Betty, Cheryl, Toni and Reggie decided to go to the Drive In and watch "It's A Wonderful Life". Kevin absolutely loves Christmas movies, Cheryl and Toni were making out the whole time, Reggie and Veronica were sleeping, Jughead told Kevin he "left his beanie in the truck" and Betty said she "left her phone inside the truck" and at the same time, they went inside Kevin's truck, locked it, and started making out. Kevin felt really lonely that everyone was in a relationship and he wasn't. He started to get hungry and decided to go get some popcorn and hot chocolate, as soon as he pulled out his cash to pay for it, he heard someone behind him say "let me pay for that" and put their money down on the table. Kevin turned around and there he was, Joaquin DeSantos. Kevin tried telling him thank you, but totally just got red faced. Joaquin then introduced himself "my name is Joaquin DeSantos, but you can just call me Joaquin, what's your name?" Kevin still completely red faced says "I-I'm gay" Joaquin kinda gave him a confused look, that made Kevin realize what he said and corrected himself with a nervous smile "wait no, my bad! Sorry, my name is Kevin Keller, but you can call me Kevin" and that's when Joaquin's eyes went big, and skin turned as pale as a bed sheet. Joaquin swallowed hard "K-Keller? As in Sheriff K-Keller?" Kevin told him "Yeah, well he's my dad". Joaquin then looked around, still terrified "Is he h-here?" Kevin then realized that clearly there was something that Joaquin was hiding. "No, he isn't here. I'm only here with my friends" Joaquin sighed in relief, but Kevin was still confused "What's wrong? Have you been in trouble with my dad before or..." before Kevin could finish, Joaquin revealed his wrist, there was a Southside Serpent tattoo. Kevin then turned pale as well "How about this, I won't tell my dad if you don't". Joaquin agreed and grabbed Kevin's wrist and said "follow me" and pulled Kevin behind him. Kevin started to feel like Joaquin was the one for him, but he was terrified where he was being taken. Joaquin ended the walk at a open field, with a gate around and turned Kevin around so they were facing each other. Kevin started to feel kinda scared, and started thinking the worst "What if he doesn't like me?" "What is going to do to me?" "Oh my god, what if he took me here to kill me?!" Without hesitation Joaquin, walked up to Kevin face to face, and kissed him on the lips. Kevin then knew, he could trust Joaquin and even better, Joaquin liked him too. Kevin felt happy that Joaquin felt the same way, and continued to make out with him. He completely trusted Joaquin and felt that he would never hurt him. A couple minutes go by, and Kevin feels his phone vibrating, he lifts his phone up to see 5 separate sets of notifications. texts from Betty, texts from Veronica, texts from Jughead, texts from Toni, and a call from his father. He looked across the field and saw the end credits were rolling on the screen, he looked at all his texts from everyone, and all of them said "where are you?". He then started to panic so he texted them a little lie and said "sorry, I got held up in the bathroom, stomach was upset...I think it was because of the popcorn. I'm coming back to the truck now" then texted his dad a similar lie "hey dad, sorry I didn't answer your call. I was stuck in the bathroom because my stomach was really upset. I'll be home in 30 minutes". At this point Kevin knew, that he needed to give Joaquin his phone number and then go back to his friends. So he told Joaquin "okay so, I have to go back to my friends now, I'm going to give you my phone number...please save it and call me tonight" and then asked him for his phone, and inputed his number. Joaquin then kissed Kevin once again and said "alright, I'll call you tonight. Goodnight Kev" with a smirk on his face. "Goodnight" Kevin said back, and quickly ran back to his friends. When he came back, everyone looked awfully worried, and asked "are you feeling better, do you need to go a doctor or do you think you just have a stomach bug?". That's when finally, Kevin broke the truth. "Okay guys, to be completely honest with you, I lied. I lied because I actually met someone but my dad would kill me if he knows what this someone is" then Jughead asked "wait, did you meet a Serpent? And what's his name?" Kevin smiled and said "yes, indeed I did. And his name is Joaquin DeSantos"
