"so you two have been fighting alot lately. i've had to call you to my office many times. starting a food fight?" the principal said.
i looked at chris and stuck my middle finger up at him under the table where only he & i could see it. he chuckled for a second but covered his mouth.
"you guys have gotten out of hand, and i'm afraid this time there will be major consequences." he went on.
"like?" chris asked as i shifted in my seat. "well chris, you're failing math this quarter." the principal said.
"HAHA, you're failing math?" i laughed. "i'm glad you find that funny miss y/l/n, because you will have to tutor him everyday after school until he attains a B average.. starting tomorrow." he explained.
"what?!" chris & i said. chris failing math was no longer funny. "also, you will be assigned together whenever your classes are doing partner projects." the principal added.
"that's so unfair!" i groaned. "i'm sorry kids, but those are the consequences. you need to learn to get along with each other because this kind of behavior at my school is not tolerated. you are dismissed." he finished.
chris & i walked out of the office. "guess we are going to be spending alot of time together." chris smirked. "you wish." i rolled my eyes.
"whatever." chris stopped it there. we walked into our class and took our seats.

as the bell rung, i gathered my things and headed over to where chris had said to meet.
i'm totally regretting this now, i should've told him to go straight to the library. because you see, everyone constantly ships us and if they see us together they will definitely get the wrong message. and i definitely did not need that happening.
as usual, he's taking forever so i decided to go on my phone. shortly after, guess who showed up.
"BOO!" chris snuck up behind me. i screeched, having my phone fall right out of my hand. luckily, chris caught it mid-air.
"don't touch my phone," i said grabbing it from his hand. "would you want it to fall?" he laughed.
"this is going to be the longest hour of my life," i sighed. "common" chris said as we started to head to the library.
"you know, you're the one who got us into this." i pointed out.
"you're the one that won't shut up." he mimicked.
"you're the one that's annoying" i shot back.
"you're the one that hates me." he said.
"you're right, i do." i crossed my arms.
"well, why?" he asked. "because you're you." i rolled my eyes yet again.
"you know, any other girl would be happy with tutoring me." chris said.
i scoff "yeah right you're just a low life chambers kid who stole the milk money" he gave me a cold death stare.
"fine. OMG, i get to tutor chris chambers !! wow im the happiest ahh my heart!!!"
to be fair chris is quite attractive. but he's also a jerk, and that's not a good combination.
"funny" he bluntly said still mad about the milk money thing "right" i smiled.
"it was sarcasm" he shot out quickly. i then heard teddy yell to chris "poonch her" followed by his ugly laugh.
i shot around so fast & everyone was starring at me, i began to heat up. chris starting laughing at me.
when they walked over to us gordie apologize to me about what teddy said, i told him it wasn't his fault his friend is retarded.
"geez, why so mean?" chris said softly after hearing what i said about teddy. "i don't know, maybe because he just embarrassed me?" chris shrugged.
"ugh whatever, let's just get this over with." i sighed and we walked into the library.
