Welcome to Outlaw! This is my first Wattpad story and I'm excited to share it with you! I'm a few chapters ahead at the moment, so updating should stay niiiice and regular. I hope you'll stick with me and enjoy this romp through the Old West.
A little background: a lot of the place names are made up, but I'm making an effort to be moderately historically accurate as far as the mid-19th century goes. For example, I looked up when balloons were invented just to see if I could use "ballooning" to describe something. If that's not the epitome of authorial integrity, I don't know what is.
I see other authors do character profiles, where they post photos of what they imagine the characters look like. I'd rather leave it up to the reader's discretion, since I think it's more fun that way, but maybe down the line - if you guys request it - I'll post MY envisioning of the characters.

And, yes, this story was also inspired by a healthy dose of Red Dead Redemption. THE TIME IS NOW TO BRING WESTERNS BACK EN VOGUE.
I feel it is my responsibility to tell you that this is... a Western. There WILL be blood and violence and shooting and swearing and all of those terrible things. Maybe not enough to warrant a mature rating, but it will most certainly be there.
