It was a beautiful day in the village of ferona. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the usually strong ocean breeze was gentle and light. The salty air was all Alice could smell as she sighed, deeply in thought. She sat upon a slight cliff that overlooked the seemingly never ending sea. She picked at the grass, her back facing the forest.
Suddenly, she huffed and flopped down on her back. She daydreamed as she stared at the light blue azure sky above her. She was so lost in her deep thoughts, she didn't hear the footsteps coming from the woods. She just closed her eyes instead, and kept them closed until she felt a light tapping against her forehead.
She jolted upwards in suprise, hitting something with her forehead on the way up. She vaguely heard a thud and groan of pain over her own yelp and wincing as she cradled her stinging forehead. "Gah! Why'd you do that, you pickle!?" an unfamiliar deep voice rang from a few feet away. "Me?! You're the one who scared me!" Alice stated and asked, "Who are you and what do you want anyways? You interrupted my daydream."
She looked up at the man glaringly taking in his appearance. He had shaggy dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. She could see faint freckles speckling his nose and naturally rosy cheeks. His lips were slightly lopsided, the top smaller than the bottom, making him look suspiciously like a pet bunny she once had. He was sitting on the grass and rubbing his chin in a soothing manner.
She was so enthralled with the similarities between his and her dead bunnies lips she didn't realize that a sly smirk had formed on the pinkish and plush things until she felt his eyes staring holes through her. She realized how weird she must seem staring at a pair of lips belonging to someone whom she had never met once in her life and quickly moved her gaze down to her hands."W-well... are you gonna answer me?" She questioned, slightly embarrassed.
"Oh!" He shook his head and stood up suddenly, "Sorry, how rude of me. My name is Lapin Doux, wonderful to meet you miss," he said confidently as he held out his hand to help me up.
