Jayden and Antonio Flu

No POV

Jayden and Antonio have been sleeping in the same room since Antonio showed up. They were best friends so it is obvious that they share a room. On a Thursday morning, everyone except Jayden and Antonio were at breakfast. Antonio is known for sleeping in sometimes but Jayden, almost never. It wasn't until Mike had pointed it out then that Kevin went to go check on them.

"Yo. Where's Jayden and Antonio? It's almost time for training." Mike asked.

Kevin checked the time and said, "I'll get them up."

Kevin was confused because Jayden never slept in. He knocked on their door and called out, "Yo guys. You up?" No answer. He slowly opens the door to see Jayden on his side with the blanket up to his waist. He was sweating like crazy but somehow shivering too. Kevin walked over to Jaydens bed and put the back of his hand to Jaydens forehead. He was burning up. He looked over to Antonio and was in fetal position with the blanket wrapped around him. He was slightly sweaty. Kevin put his hand on his forehead and also had a fever. Not as bad as Jayden. Kevin sighed and stood up and walked out. Closing the door behind him. He entered the kitchen as Emily was putting her bowl in the sink. She turned to see Kevin at the counter.

"Hey Kev. Where's Jayden and Antonio?" She asked

"They're not feeling well. They both got a fever and they are still asleep." Kevin said. It was rare for any of them to get sick. Emily frowned.

"Maybe I'll make them something to eat later. Hopefully they feel better soon. I'll tell Ji." She said sadly.

Emily jogged to the training area outside were Ji was sitting. She walked up to him. "Ji. Jayden and Antonio aren't feeling well. They got fevers." Ji frowned.

"I'll go check on them." He said. Emily nodded and went to go join the Pink and Green ranger. Ji walked to their room and opened the door. Both in the same position. Ji came to Jayden and lightly shook him.

"Jayden. Jay. Wake up. I need to assess you." Jayden slowly opened his eyes and looked at Ji with confusion.

"W-what? Wha-at's going on?" Jayden stuttered.

He looked at the time and started to get up, noticing that it was training time. Ji put his hand on Jay's chest and pushed him back down.

"You're sick Jayden. You need to rest. Tell me how you feel." Ji said softly.

But Jayden is stubborn. "I'm fine. I wanna go train."

"No you're not. Now tell me how you feel. Be honest." Ji said sternly.

Jayden sighed. "My throat and stomach hurts. My head is pounding and I feel weak."

Damn. He must feeling bad or else he would've put up a better fight. Ji walked over to Antonio's bed and did the same thing.

"Antonio. Wake up. I need to check up on you." Ji said.

Antonio just groaned and turned over. Ji shook him again.

"Antonio. Wake up. Please. How are you feeling?" Ji said sternly.

Antonio opened his eyes and turned to Ji. His eyes were glossy. His complexion was really pale, too.

"How do you feel? You look terrible." Ji said concerned.

"My throat is killing me, I feel nauseous, and my head hurts." Antonio croaked.

He sounded horrible. Jayden looked concerned and a little guilty. He probably thought that he got him ill.

Ji said, "I'm going to come back with medicine and water. Try not to go back to sleep. Do you think you both can eat something?"

Antonio shook his head. Ji looked at Jayden and repeated the action. Ji looked down and sighed.

"OK. I'll be back. Try to stay awake." Said Ji.

He walked out of the room to the Recovery Room and grabbed some Benadryl and Dayquil. He then walked to the kitchen to grab a couple of water bottles. He walked back to Jayden and Antonio's room to see they're both laying down but still awake. He walked over to their side desk and put the items on them. They both sat up and saw the items and cringed. They knew what was coming. They both took the medicine and a sip of water and fell back alseep. And Ji left them like that. This might not be as bad as he thought.
