Mike's Stomachache

Mike's POV
I woke up and saw that it was dark outside. I look at the time and see it was 3:34am. I groan and moved on my back. I felt worse than before. I put his hand on his head and could feel the heat radiating off of it. I felt thirsty and not nauseous so I took that as a victory. I slowly sat up and thankfully wasn't as dizzy. I walk to the kitchen and turned on the lights. I took a cup and filled it with water. I leaned against the counter and slowly drank some of it. Then a massive wave of dizziness swept over me and I dropped the glass and shattered. He turned and leaned over the sink because I felt the water come back up and I was fighting it, not wanting to get sick. I was breathing really heavily and I heard in front of me, "What the hell?" I look and Jayden is in front of me with a look of surprise on his face. Then I felt the water come up my throat and I couldn't stop it. I lean over and start puking up the water I just drank. I put my arm over my aching stomach and coughed up the bile. I felt Jayden's hand rub my back and it felt comforting. I spat in the sink and he turned on the water and washed it down. He said, "You okay, Bro?" I nodded.

"I felt better enough to get some water but then I got really dizzy. I didn't mean to drop the cup I'm sorry." I said.

He shook his head and said, "Don't worry about it." I nodded. He put my arm over his shoulder and helped me back to the infirmary room. He helped me back in bed and walked into the bathroom and walked back in with some medicine. I sat up and he gave me a cup and I downed it. He sat on the bed and gave me a thermometer and I put it in my mouth.

"Do you feel any better?" He asked. I shook my head no.

"We have the day off tomorrow so don't worry about missing training." I nodded and the thermometer beeped. He took it out and clicked his tongue.

"What's the diagnosis, doc?" I asked.

"101. You got a fever. Go to sleep and try and sweat off the fever. Okay?" He said. I nodded and laid down. He got up and said goodnight before shutting off the light and closing the door. I was actually able to go to sleep fast thanks to the medicine that Jayden gave me and I welcomed the dark bliss.
