Eisuke's P.O.V

"Ugh..." I'm so tired, especially after what happened yesterday with that woman. She has been on my mind since. She makes me frustrated. I have a feeling. And it's telling me that I should fire her. She's no good. A weak girl like her shouldn't deserve to be my secretary. Skipping job on her first day? That's unacceptable! I stood up and walked towards the big window. I looked at the city outside my window and took a deep breath. Just as I was about to go back to my desk, something caught my eye. A girl with long black hair. She looks familiar. Wait, is that the girl from yesterday? Yeah, that's her. I glared at her. "How dare she skip her work on her first day" I'll fire her today. She deserves it! I sat back on my desk, waiting for her.

Samantha's P.O.V

I arrived at the building late. I regret wearing high heels today. What was I thinking? I am literally torturing myself. I force my way towards the elevator and waited. Every once in a while, a person would get off the elevator and believe me, they took really long to get out. I wonder if these people ever get scolded for being late. I clicked my heels aggressively and people would look at me and give me a stare that says "Can you stop clicking your heels so god damn hard? It's annoying" and I just give them a sly smile. I waited as patiently as I can. For like an eternity, I arrived at the final floor. I dashed towards Eisuke's office and knocked (more like banged) on the door. I hear shuffling in the room and not long after, he opened the door. He gave me a glare that sent chills down my spine. "I'm sorry, I-" I thought about an excuse that could convince him but he cut me off by saying "Making excuses, huh? Well, guess what? You're fired. You're not good enough" I was lost for words.

What the heck! Getting fired on my second day? I guess luck wasn't on my side today. I sighed in defeat as I turned around slowly with my head bowed down in shame. I was hoping he would pity me and give me a second chance but he didn't. I went back to the elevator and watched as the numbers decreased down to the ground floor. I felt tears rushing onto my eyes. I wiped them away softly. I gave a weak smile at myself. What an idiot I was. All those dedication were nothing but useless. I give up. Finally, the elevator reached the 1st floor and I slowly made my way towards the entrance. I could hear faint giggling inside the building. "I knew she couldn't make it. Ha! Look at her!" I hailed for a cab and told the driver to drive to my best friends house.
