NATASHA'S POV

James and I arrive at my home just as the sun is beginning to rise, and my father is waiting in front of the door to my area. Shit.
《Don't be mad, father.》I say, walking over to him while James stands awkwardly by his bike.《I had a bad dream and called him. We went to Montauk.》
《You should've left a note, I almost called security.》Father looks relieved but still his serious self.《Would he like to stay for breakfast?》
《I'll ask.》I grin excitedly and jog over to my boyfriend who looks a little terrified of my father. "My father wants to know if you'd like to stay for breakfast."
"He won't kill me, will he?" James asks, his voice cracking a little as he watches my father wearily.
"He won't, promise." I giggle in amusement from his sudden fear of my father. I take his hand and start dragging him to my father. "Come on, Kiera makes the best pancakes."
That gets him moving faster. This dork loves pancakes. Probably too much.
"Good to see you again, James." Father smiles slightly but not a lot.
"You too, sir." They awkwardly shake hands which is funny to watch.
The three of us head inside just as Kiera is plating up some food. She smiles when she sees us and greets us good morning, then rushes off to do whatever duties she needs to attend to. I sit in between the two of them. My father doesn't eat much but James and I pile our plates high with pancakes and other foods.
My father raises an eyebrow at us but eats a blueberry from his bowl of fruit.
"Steve accidentally punched Tony in the groin." James laughs, showing me the text his best friend send. Tony is apparently pouting and refusing to come out of the garage. "Never wrestle with Steve, it doesn't end well."
"Oh babe, such an innocent soul." This time, both raise their eyebrows while I burst into fits of giggles.
"What?" James asks when I calm down, my sides hurting from laugh so hard.
"Babe, he may have said he punched Tony in the groin but I don't think he did in the way you think." I tell him, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. I try keeping a straight face but when realisation crosses his face, it is way too difficult not to laugh. "I thought Bruce was innocent but my gosh."
James let's out an embarrassed whine, the flush on his cheeks evident through his fingers.
My father quickly excuses himself after he gets a text but I think the conversation played into it as well.
"Hey," James finally speaks after silently finishing his food and taking both our plates to the dishwasher. "Instead of going out for dinner, maybe I can cook you something at my place?"
"Romantic night in plus our first time?" I ask, hiding my smile when James turns to look at me and he nods, his cheeks still red. "I'd love that."
We hang out for a few hours watching movies, James heads home to go get started on dinner and hang out with Steve while Tony is pouting. After a long kiss, he grabs his helmet and leaves me alone.
Pushing myself off the couch, I head up to my room and change into anything but my pyjama's, and then I leave after putting on some leather boots to go see my horse. My horse is a large black Friesian by the name of Billy. My father got her for me back in Russia and brought her here to New York when we moved because I love this horse.
"Hi George," I greet the stable boy. George is twenty, tall and lanky but great with the horses. "I'm taking Billy for a ride."
"Would you like me to saddle her up?" George asks, putting down the brushes he's cleaning to grab the saddle.
"I can do it." I smile, taking the heavy leather from him and heading to Billy's stall. With a grunt, I lift the saddle onto the stall wall and walk in with a grin. "Hey girl, how are you?"
Billy shakes her head with a whinny, making me smile.
"You want me to sneak you an apple?" I chuckle, rubbing her nuzzle lovingly. "I'll see what I can do."
I sneak her a couple apples and let her eat of my hand before I saddle her up and guide her out. I don't bother grabbing a helmet before I mount her because I've never really needed one. We trot around the property for a while until Billy gets impatient, so we start galloping. After an hour or so, we head back and I take her saddle off and brush her down, along with giving her fresh water and another apple.
I let George take over once most of the chores are done, and I head back to go have a shower to wash off the sweat and some sand from last night. The images from my nightmare aren't front and centre any more and telling James helped take some of the weight off of my shoulders.
Knowing that this is James' first time, I go for a black knee length dress that becomes flowy at the waist, it’s heart shape covers my chest, a see through netted material that comes up to my throat, thin straps cross at the back. There’s flowery beaded pattern over my chest and waist connecting to the v of my back.
I pull on some black heels to go with the look and my favourite leather jacket, and in a backpack, I shove some clothes to change into tomorrow. I also slip a few condoms in one of the pockets.
I do my hair in a side braid that comes around front across my right shoulder and some light make up.
One of father's drivers takes me to James' place where I sneak in through the garage thanks to Dion who just smirks knowingly at me as he let's me in.
Before I even reach the door to James' apartment, I can smell food cooking and I can hear rock music blasting that makes me smile from ear to ear.
