Shinyoung's POV
"Present!" I said when our teacher checked our attendance. "OK class, we we'll have a new seating arrangement." My happy smile became a sad one because I might not be seating with Seohyun. "Get your bags and fall in line outside." The teacher said. "I hope we'll still be seatmates" said Seohyun with a reassuring smile. Our seats are 4 rows and 9 columns that's divided by 3 columns.
I'm nervous who'll be my seatmate. I hope it's Seohyun.
My teacher interrupted my thoughts because she called my name. "Shinyoung, sit at the center seat of the first group at the first row." My teacher said. I went to my new seat.
I wonder who will be my new seatmates.
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard my name. "Taehyung, sit at the right of Shinyoung."
He was the boy earlier. Gosh, he's cute.
I was interrupted for the second time. "Jungkook, sit at the left of Shinyoung." He's also cute. They're both cute, actually.
After a couple of minutes, the boy at my left talked to me. "Hi! I'm Jeon Jungkook, what's your name?" He said. "I'm Lee Shinyoung! Nice to meet you, Jungkook." He handed me a handshake.
After that, the bell rang. I was already standing but someone held my shoulders. "H-hey Shinyoung, c-can you join us at the canteen?" He said. "Sure! But, 'us'?" I asked. "Yeah, us." Someone said. "Shinyoung, meet Taehyung" said Jungkook. "Hi I'm Lee Shinyoung, nice to meet you!" I said with a cheeky smile. "Nice to meet you too Shinyoung!" He said with his box smile. "Let's go!" Said Jungkook while dragging us.
Gosh, they're so cute. I was surrounded by hanseum people.
"We're here guys" Taehyung said. He led us to a table and sat there. "What do you guys want?" Jungkook asked. "I just want juice" I said with a smile. "Ok"
After Jungkook fell in line, me and Taehyung were left. "So, you're a transferee huh?" He asked. "Yeah, how about you?" I asked. "Yes, me and Jungkook are schoolmates since preschool, we're always go to school together."
So it means, they're neighbors? If Taehyung was the boy I saw earlier a few blocks from our house, Jungkook is also my neighbor? Or should I say, they're my neighbors?
"Hey Shinyoung?" Jungkook waved his hand at the front of my face because I realized that I was in a deep thought.
"So you're neighbors?" I asked them. "Yes. In fact, our house are side by side" Taehyung said. "Oh, sooo~, we're neighbors too" I said. "Yeah! You're the girl I saw earlier. I knew it!"
I was shocked when he said that. I didn't know he also saw me.
I got my juice from the tray and sipped it. They were nibbling their foods while I sip my juice.
Minutes later, we decided to go back to our room because it was already time. Before we go to our room, I excused myself to the washroom and they nodded.
When I was going to the washroom, Seohyun saw me. "Hi Shinyoung! How's your new seatmates? Are they nice?" She asked. "Yes, they're so nice. And also, they're my neighbors. How about yours?" I asked. "Yeah, they are nice. But the ones on my left was always sleepy. He is always groggy." she laughed.
After that, we went to our classroom. But before I enter, I heard my name being chitchatted. "Shinyoung is so cute" Jungkook said. "Maybe we can fetch her tom--" Taehyung was interrupted when I sat between them. "Your house is the peach-colored one?" Jungkook asked. "Yeah, why?" I asked like I don't know what they're planning. "Nothing" Taehyung nervously laughed.
