Indigo Carraway isn't like everyone else. In a land where everything is colourful and orderly, Indigo's dark magic stands out. Therefore, when strange things begin to happen to the town of Islebury, Indigo is blamed, and his mother leaves to start a new life without him and his father.
Desperate to make things right again, Indigo and his best friend, Aurelia, leave on a journey to the forbidden place that is the woods in the hopes of being able to solve this puzzle, but things don't work out like Indigo had hoped it would - in fact, things seem to become worse, and it is up to Indigo and his new friend to solve the mystery that is causing all his problems...
