Rachel’s POV:

I groaned as I got kicked in the stomach once again. I hurt everywhere. I don’t know how much more pain I could take. I don’t think I can hold on much longer.

“How about we show them how much pain your in?”

“Wh-a-at?” I asked, confused.

“I’m going to send a little picture of you and a letter to your mother. Do you think she would like that?”

I tried to shake my head, but moving it hurt. So I muttered out a “no.” He just laughed. I saw a flash and I was blinded momentarily.

He left the room and I silently cried to myself.

Liam’s POV:

I was in contact with Rachel’s mum ever since that first phone call. She was basically living at the police station. I just got off the airplane and was heading there now. I needed to know if there was anymore news about Rachel. I just couldn’t believe this was happening. The love of my life, taken away. I couldn’t even imagine the pain she must be going through right now. He said she would pay for what happened to her brother. That whole family is insane.

I finally arrived at the station. The drive felt like the longest drive of my life. My phone buzzed. It was a text from Niall.

From Nialler: We are going to be there as fast as we can.

I didn’t bother replying. I got on an earlier flight, thanks to Paul. The boys were leaving tomorrow, but I couldn’t wait that long, and they all understood. Rachel meant the most to me.

I ran into the station until I finally found Rachel’s parents.

“Hello Liam,” her dad said sadly.

I smiled sadly at him and sat down in an empty seat near them.

An unfamiliar man walked through the doors and the sad couple immediately stood up. This must be the detective in charge. I stood up quickly, wanting to hear what he had to say.

“We just received this letter from Caleb Michaels. I wanted to know if you wanted to read it. We have run it through to see if there is any finger prints on it. We are just waiting on results. This is just a photo copy. Would you like to read it? And see the picture?”

Picture? That couldn’t be good.

Her parents nodded, even though their expressions showed a bit of uncertainty. He handed them the letter and gave them a small smile. He walked away as her parents went over the letter.

Her mother started crying even harder and about a minute later, Mr. Collins’ offered me the letter and the picture. I took it and read it.

Rachel, what a beautiful girl she is. Too bad she won’t be around for much longer. My brother was all I had. And thanks to this bitch, he’s dead. Was it really so wrong to be in love with a girl? He LOVED her and all she does it get him killed. She deserves everything that is coming to her. I am going to drag out the pain for as long as I can.

By this time, tears were already running down my cheeks. I am going to drag out the pain for as long as possible. He’s going to torture her. What a sick man. I took my first glance and immediately regretted it. There was the girl I loved, but she was broken. She was bloody everywhere and I could tell she was trying to hold in her tears. He has hurt her so much already. I don’t want her to die. I love her. I need her. Without her, my life will be over,

“We have a finger print.” The detective announced. That was fast.

“How does that help? We already know who it is..” Her father said, a bit angrily.

“We have an address as well,”
