Lucy's Fairytale

The Beginning

When I look around everyone is staring at me. I'm on stage and about to give a speech son my life before I leave town and go on to find the secret behind my family. I start to talk and everyone is quiet and listening to me. I get stuck and say a wrong word and I hear someone laugh. I don't know what's going on all I know is that people are laughing and I start to pass out.

Everyone gasps and Erza, Gray, and Natsu come to help. As they are running all you can hear is screaming and one person laughing. When you wake up you are in a hospital bed and you see two people staring at you Erza and Natsu. They run over to hug you, and you can see the nurse running to get the doctor for meds to make me feel better. Later I only see Erza standing there and she tells me Natsu went to get gramps.

*Lucy POV*

A month later I'm at Natsu's house. I wake up on a humongous bed. I don't open my eyes but I have a feeling that someone is watching me. I finally decided to open my eyes. I look around and see someone looking at me, it's Natsu and he's smiling. I don't know why he is staring at me but it's pretty creepy. I jump out of the bed and yell at Natsu "Why am I here? Also, why are you staring at me while I am sleeping? Don't you know what privacy is!'' Natsu looks at me concerned and just laughs it off. "What do you think you're laughing at?" For some odd reason, his smile is so adorable. I start smiling too and now I feel like I'm blushing.

"I'm laughing because you're freakin' adorable." He says with a smile. I have never seen a smile as adorable as his. I look at him and just stare. Is this a dream? Why would he ever say that to me?

"You're really funny, you know?" I say in denial.

"You think I'm lying?" He curiously says.

"You're not lying! I'm ugly and you think I'm cute!? You must be hallucinating." All I can do is stare in shock. Why would he say that the moment I wake up? Better yet why am I here?

"I'm just kidding with ya." He says laughing. Ouch, that hurt. I just laugh it off with him but I laugh very awkwardly. "I think we should go find Erza and Gray then go and find a job to do." 

"Wait, I still want to know why I am here," I say once again.

"Oh, that. Yeah, you were in a coma for a month." Natsu says too casually.

I yell at him, "I don't care about that! I want to know why I am at your house!"

"I was the only one who would?" take you in while you were asleep." I could tell he was lying, but I wasn't going to tell him that.

"Well, thanks for that... I guess." I  don't really know how to respond to that. This is really awkward until I hear the door fall to the floor. I flinch and then look at the entryway where the door once stood, then I see Gray. His face is lit up with a bright smile. I don't really ever see him this happy.

"Why does everyone seem so happy? Did someone get married or something?" I ask in confusion.

They both laugh and then Gray says "No, no, that's not the reason. We've just all been waiting for you to wake up from the coma but Natsu just up and left and took you here without asking us." Then he sighs and shakes his head. I knew Natsu was lying but that is not important.

"Well since we are here, we should go find Erza and go and find a job to do," I say while trying to leave Natsu's house. I can't handle how messy and smelly it is in here. It smells like rotten cooked fish, which makes sense. Then I notice that I am still in my clothes from a month ago, and I need to shower. Great, just great. I guess I will have to ask him for a spare change of clothes and if I can take a shower here.

"What are you waiting for Lucy, let's go," Natsu says with that signature smile.

"Well, the thing is, I have been in a coma for around a month right? I smell really bad and I am still in the same clothes from a month ago." I say.

Then Natsu interrupts and says "Your point is?"

"I need a spare change of clothes and I need to take a shower. Here. Now." I say awkwardly.

"Ok fine," Natsu said. "Just don't take too long." I nod and then head to his shower. I have to step over a ton of trash, maybe I should come back sometime and help this poor house. Once I get to the bathroom I take a look around. It seems like it has never been used before which is really weird. I look around for a towel and then finally find one. I take a shower for about twenty minutes.

"Hurry up, I bet Erza is waiting and we don't want her to become mad," Gray says in a panic. Oh no, I better hurry. I run into Natsu's room and grab whatever clothes I can find and I put them on very fast. Once I head into the living room I notice I am wearing his old clothes. They actually smell good for some odd reason. I shouldn't be mean to him he gave me clothes so I guess I owe him something. I head outside and Erza's there.

"Well, what do we have here?" She said. "I'm glad your up, but why are you wearing Natsu's clothes?"

"I didn't have any other clothes besides the ones I wore a month ago so I asked Natsu if I could borrow his clothes," I said to her. Now that I say that to Erza, it sounds so weird. But what's weird is that she smirks at me and then looks at Natsu when he isn't looking.

"Ok, that makes more sense. I got a job for us so let's go. Wendy is already ready and waiting for us."

"Yes finally let's go!" Natsu yelled.

"Time to kick some butt!" Gray yells.
