Lucy's Fairytale

Captured

I woke up and checked on Lucy. I went and her room and saw that she was still asleep, but she had a terrified look on her face. What was she dreaming about? Before I could say anything, she whisper something.

"Natsu..." She said quietly but she had a bit of terrier in her voice. I felt so bad for her even if I don't know what's happening. I sat down next to her and gave her a kiss on her head. She smiled and I felt better.

An hour later, Lucy wakes up in a sweat. I run in there from her screaming and she started crying when she saw my face. I sit down next to her and hold her while she crys. While I'm holding her she whispers, "I thought you died." My eyes shoot right open. That's what the nightmare must have been about.

I whisper back to her, "I will never die or leave you." I felt so bad for her. I can't believe that I died in her nightmare. This is horrible, what is happening to her?

"I don't want you to die," she says, while hugging me tighter and crying even more.
"What do you mean, I could never die and leave you."
"Natsu... I've been having these dreams." She says. I'm now more worried.
"What kind of dreams?" I ask her.
"Carla says that sometimes in my dreams, I can see the future or see into different timelines."
"Lucy... your dreams of the future or whatever, won't include that nightmare you had. If I've been around Carla long enough, nightmares won't have anything to do with the future."
"Really?"
"Really. Your completely safe and so am I." She grabs me tight and cries in my chest again. We sit like that for awhile, it felt nice. She falls back asleep and doesn't wake up the rest of the night.

The next morning I make her a bit of food, because when I am sad, food helps me so it may help her. Then while I am cooking food I hear her come downstairs, she looks really out of it. Then she walks over to me and hugs me. I stroke her hair and then she lets go and she stares at me.

"You should probably head to the guild." Lucy says.
"I'm not leaving till you get better."
"Please, you should go."
"I said no! I'm not leaving until you feel better." I say kind of loud and mad. She covers her face, which seems like she thought I was going to hit her. "I'm sorr-" she cuts me off.
"Just go!" She yells and points at the door. I leave her house feeling like a terrible person. I can't believe I yelled at her and she thought I was gonna hit her. I'm such an idiot.

*Lucy POV*

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Why did I tell him to leave? I should have just asked why he yelled. I need to apologise later. I look at the food he was trying to make and I smile. How thoughtful. I finish cooking what he was making and eat it.

After I eat I put on warm clothes and head to the guild. If I see Natsu I need to say sorry before I ruin things. Maybe that's what Happy was telling me in the dream. Once I get to the guild I look around for Natsu but I don't see him anywhere.

I ask everyone if they have seen him but nobody knows where he is. I tell them if they see him to let him know that I'm looking for him. Then as I am walking out of the guild, someone grabs me and covers my mouth as I try to scream.
