Lucy's Fairytale

Nashi Dragneel

*Natsu POV*

I am in the waiting room waiting to go in. For some reason I was not aloud in, I'm guessing since I wasn't her husband yet.

Then as I'm waiting a nurse comes out and says, "You may come in." I walk in and see Lucy holding Nahsi.

"Do you wanna hold her?" Lucy asks. I've never held a baby before. What if I drop her and she dies?!

"Sure." I say. I walk over to Lucy and I carefully grab Nashi. I see that she has Lucy's brown eyes. Hopefully she will have salmon hair like me.

"She beautiful." I say. She really is. I just now realise that I'm a dad. That is a big deal to me.

I give Nashi a kiss on her head then give her back to Lucy because Nashi starts to cry. The nurse asks me to leave for some reason so I aggressively say, "How come?!"

"Because you all will be leaving soon, but we need to do a few things." I nod and wait outside the room for awhile.

They all finally come out. We head home and Nahsi cries.... A lot! I think I'm going to lose my mind if she doesn't stop, but I don't know when she will since I haven't really been around a baby.

When we get home I grab a crib out of one of the boxes so she has a place to sleep before we move out. Lucy takes a nap and I pack even more. We need to move into a new house soon since Nashi came early.

Then once I get the crib out I place her in it and hope that she falls asleep, because I don't know what to do. I finish packing everything that we can but they are both asleep so I decide to make a sandwich for Lucy and I just in case she wakes up.

Soon enough I hear Nashi cry, this is not good! I look over to see if Lucy is awake but she isn't, no not now! I go over and grab Nashi and start to pat her back hoping she will stop. That doesn't work, then I go over and get a milk bottle and try that, nope. I don't want to wake up Lucy though, she needs sleep.

Then I see Lucy start to wake up, once she is awake she takes Nashi. "I'm sorry." I say.

"Don't worry about it. It's a new thing so we will learn together, okay?" She tells me with a smile. I nod my head and she kisses my cheek and walks around the house with Nahsi in her arms. They both look so calm and cute, I love my girls.

Later on in the every now and then people will come by and congratulate us, it gets a little tiring. When Levy stops by sh wouldn't stop talking about babies and stuff like that. She would sequel a lot and it hurt my ears too.

This is our last night in this house and then we are going to move to the bigger house. We are sleeping on a blow up air mattress since our bed is with the rest of furniture. I see that Lucy and Nashi are already asleep so I decide to try and go to sleep to.

Then at some random time at night I wake up to the sound of Nahsi crying, is Lucy awake? I see that Lucy has just woke up like me and slowly gets up, I also get up because I want to help in any way possible.

Lucy starts to pat Nahsi on the back and then Nahsi burps and stops crying. Then I take Nahsi and start to hum for her, I'm not best best singer but I want to be a good dad.

"Thank you for trying." Lucy says while yawning.
"I just want us to be a happy family so I want to do everything in my power to make us a good family."
"Well you doing a great job!" She says and then kisses me. I kiss her back and we go back to sleep.
