Lexi P.O.V
I wake up by the sound of my alarm. I swipe my screen of my phone and go to Maleah's room to wake her up. I shake her and call her name, she finally wakes up.
"Good morning Lele, come on and get up. We've got school." I tell her.
"Why do I have to go?" She asks me.
"Because you have to go and get good grades to have a job." I tell her while walking out.
I walk to my room and grab a sweatshirt, black jeans, converse, underwear, and bra. I go to the bathroom and turn the shower on, I take my clothes off and get in the shower. I grab my tooth brush and brush my teeth. I get out the shower and get dress. I go downstairs to see Camila making breakfast.
"Good morning Lexi." she says while smiling.
"Good morning to you too." I say with a smile.
I grab plates and set the table. Evan walks downstairs and sees me setting the table.
"Good morning beautiful." he says and I blush.
"Good morning Evan." I say while smiling. He chuckles and kisses my cheek. Camila brings the pancakes in and puts some on our plates.
"Where's Lele?" Camila asks. We hear her coming down the stairs.
"Finally took you long enough." Camila says.
"Sorry I was just laying in bed." Maleah says.
"Lazy ass." Evan says with a smirk.
"Smart ass." Maleah says,
"I heard that." he says.
"Whatever." Maleah say. She gets up to get more food. She trip over the leg of the chair. Her head hits the ground and she's out.
"Maleah." I say in terror. Evan gets up and flips her over.
"She's bleeding, we've gotta take her to the hospital." Evan says and picks her up.
We get in the car, Maleah's head is on my lap. I have a rag against her head. There's a lot of blood coming out. We arrive at the hospital fast. Evan picks Maleah and brings her in the hospital.
"SOMEONE HELP!" Evan screams. The doctors run to Maleah. They take her away, "Head trauma, take her a CT scan right away." One of the doctors say. Evan grabs my hand, "She'll be fine, she's a fighter." He says while smiling.
I nod my head and think to myself. Guess there's no school today...
Hopefully Maleah is ok:(
