Lexi's P.O.V
I tense up from the question she asks. I look over at Evan who's just staring at me not know what to say. Maleah looks down at her hands and doesn't say anything.
"Um I-." I was saying but I was cut off by Evan.
"I'll tell you later." He says with the look "drop the subject" and he looks at me smiling. His mom just nods her head and continues eating.
"So are we going to school tomorrow?" Maleah asks out of the blue. Evan looks at Lele with a be quiet face.
"Well of course you'll go to school honey, why wouldn't you?" Mrs. Sylvia asks Lele. She looks at Evan, "Have you not been to school?" She asks him. Evan nods his head no, "You better have a good explanation mister." She says while continuing to eat. I look at Evan who's just sitting there smiling like and idiot. I kick his leg and give him the "What the hell" look. He just busted out laughing and Lele looks at me. I look at Evan who is getting red from laughing to much. Then I start laughing because of how red his face is. Then we all start laughing at him, after we're done we clean all of our dishes and go to the living room.
"So why haven't you guys been in school?" Mrs. Sylvia asks again. I look at Evan and he looks at me, Evan cleats his throat. "Well um all this happened a few weeks ago..." and he starts the story from the beginning.
Once Evan finished explaining Mrs. Sylvia has tears coming out of her eyes and she comes and hugs me and Lele. "You poor girls, I'm so sorry." She says hugging us making me cry.
"You can stay here as long as you need, shoot you can stay forever." She says letting go of me. "Thank you so much Mrs. Sylvia." I say smiling. "Don't thank me honey." She says as she kisses my cheek. "Your so strong." She says with a smile in her face. I smile back at her, "Thank you so freaking much Mrs. Sylvia." Maleah says hugging her hard. "Lele what have I told you about saying freaking." I scowl her. "Sorry not sorry I had to." She says with a smile. "Yea yea whatever." I say a pinch her arm. "Hey! Why did you do that?" Maleah says while rubbing her arm. I giggle a shake my head, "Go get ready we're going out." Mrs. Sylvia says. "Yes ma'am." Maleah says and runs up the stairs. I nod my head and follow Maleah up the stairs with Evan following behind me. I stop when we get to the hallway and turn around and hug Evan hard. His surprised at first but he hugs back. "Thank you so much Evan, I don't know what I would do without you." I say into his chest. "Don't thank me Lex." He says and hugs me harder. We stay like that for another 3 minutes and then we hear Maleah running down the hallway. "Come on you love birds." She says and kicks me in my butt and runs away. I mumble a few bad words but walk into my room and grab some clothes and walk into my bathroom to change and brush my teeth. I walk out to see Evan on the bed. I walk over to him and sit next to him and lean my head on his shoulder. "Come on let's go before they start screaming at us." I say and grab his arm and pull him out the room. I walk downstairs to see Maleah and Mrs. Sylvia ready. "So where are we going." I ask. "It's a surprise." She says with a smile. We all walk out the door and get into the car. I think in my head 'I wonder where we're going.' as I watch the cars drive by.

Sorry for not updating a lot I've been stressed but I'll try and update more:))
