Josh  nods, calling the waitress over and handing her a ten dollar bill. Josh leads you out of the Waffle House, handing you the aux cord when you get in the car.

"Pick whatever. I need to stop someplace real quick, but you'll be home soon."

You nod, plugging in your phone. As Josh pulls away, you scroll through your music playlist, settling on a playlist you made of all calming songs. You tap shuffle and close your eyes, resting your head against the seat. But as you begin to relax, the first words of First Love come through the speakers. "Fuck, no. No, no, no." You scramble to change the song, growing more and more frustrated as first Awake, then Serendipity, then I Need U come on.

"Screw it." With that, you rip the aux cord out from your phone and hit the button to go to normal radio. But you're greeted by a K-Pop station. And the song playing is 2! 3! "Josh, I swear to God." You hit the off button and send a glare to your friend. "K-Pop? You were listening to K-Pop?"

He nods. "I mean, it's a good genre." Josh makes a turn, slowing to a stop in front of a bar. "Wanna come in with me? I'll try to be quick, but with Steve, you never know."

You nod. "This conversation isn't over." Following Josh inside, you pull out your phone and text Yoongi.

You: josh and i are stopping at a bar real quick. not to drink, josh said he needed to stop here for a few. i expect you to be asleep now, or if not now, by the time we get back. night love

Your phone goes back in your pocket as you and Josh get inside. Josh turns to you. "Have a seat at the bar. I texted the bartender earlier and said I was bringing a girl with me and to let her have a few drinks if she wants. I'll be back quickly, I promise." Josh disappears into the crowd before you can tell him you'll be fine, and you shrug.

The bartender looks like a nice man, and you smile politely at him as you sit on one of the stools. He returns your smile. "Are you Josh's girlfriend? He told me he was bringing a girl with him tonight."

You blush, shaking your head. "I was in highschool, but now I'm his friend." The bartender nods, passing you a drink menu. "What's this for?"

"Drinks, duh."

You laugh. "Duh, what else?" You study the menu for a bit. "Can I just have a round of shots?"

The bartender nods. "Coming right up." You watch as the man grabs a bottle of tequila and a few shot glasses. He sets them down in front of you, shot glasses clinking. "I never caught your name, by the way. Steve was pretty pissed off earlier, so I don't think your friend will be out soon. Be easier to talk if we knew each other's names."

"I'm (Y/N)." You pour a shot into the glass and toss it back, the alcohol burning so good.

"And I'm Zach." Zach chuckles as you toss back another shot, and then another one. "What are you celebrating tonight?"
You take another shot. "Nothing."

"Then what are you trying to forget?"

You look sharply at Zach, pouring yourself another shot. You're beginning to feel a bit tipsy, and curse your family for being lightweights and passing it on to you. "None of your business." The shot you poured goes down, and you sigh.
Zach frowns. "Okay then. Try not to get too drunk though. You're a lightweight, aren't you."

In the time Zach was speaking, you had taken two more shots, and you are definitely drunk now. "Nooooo, I'm not a lightweight!" You giggle, pouring yourself another shot. You take another shot glass, and pour a second, passing that one to Zach. "Cheers, to friendship!"

You toss the shot back, ignoring the little bit that spilled. "Do I need to cut you off?" Zach reaches for the bottle of tequila, but you're too quick.
