~Kaitlyn's POV~
After the kiss in my bedroom, Liam and I started dating. It was good to finally have something I knew I'd be able to hold onto. For once, it wasn't just longing, it was real.
Kaya had a slight reaction to us being together, but in a few weeks got over herself. Everyone else was so absolutely happy for us, especially since I had been so noticeably unhappy not too long ago.
Sadly, the summer months were coming to an end, which meant that Alex, Tim, John, Valerie, Melanie, Kaya, and I had to go back to school. Harry, Niall, Louis, Brandon, Gemma, and Liam had to go back to England, and my parents had other things to do than entertain me and my friends.
Ethan and Kathy went to the local university, so they wouldn't be leaving, but Jane went to a school in California, entirely across the country. I had told each of them that we had to stay in touch, no matter what.
After saying goodbye to Jane, who left two days earlier than the rest of us, we all just set about packing and doing our best to not get in each others ways too much. Two days passed quickly, an I was saying goodbye to Ethan and Kathy, and then my parents. Almost too soon we were at the airport, through security, and going our separate ways.
Alex's, John's, and Tim's flight left first and they were rushing to get to it. A quick goodbye was exchanged and then they were running for their plane. Val and Mel had already said goodbye and went ahead to our gate, promising to save me a seat.
Gemma and Brandon were first flying to their honeymoon, and all too soon had to run off. Louis and Niall decided to go ahead of the others and go their gate. Kaya soon had to rush off as well, excited to get back to her campus.
"Well," Harry stated when it was just him, Liam, and I, "I'm gonna go find the others at our gate, it was good seeing you, Katie."
"Bye," I hugged him, "and get a girlfriend will you? You could really use one."
"I'll try," he laughed, beginning to walk away, "Bye!"
"Bye!" I waved, I turned to Liam, "Now it's just you and me."
"What a summer," he replied.
"Yeah," I smiled, "promise you'll visit."
"Only if you don't get too busy to Skype me every now and then," he teased.
"Nearly every night."
"Then I guess his is goodbye," he sighed.
"Goodbye for now," I corrected him.
"Yeah, goodbye for now."
I hugged him as tight as I possibly could, almost not intending to let go, but finally, I loosened my grip to look up at him. He gave me a swift kiss, before stepping out of my grip.
"Bye, Katie," he was already walking away.
"Bye, Liam," I felt the tears stinging my eyes, and blurring my vision slightly. I blinked them away, to watch him disappear.
He looked back once to call,
"I love you!"
I smiled, letting the tears slip down my face as I walked toward my own gate.

A/N: And that, my friends, is the end. There will most likely not be an epilogue, but who am I to tell the future.
I feel like it has a good ending, let me know in the comment though.
I can't believe I actually finished this story, I thought I never would.
Vote, comment, share, whatever you want.
Much love, xx
