Relationship with Alison: Very complicated. Daphne tends to be very against giving up top secret intel to Ali but she almost always agrees in the end. The two tend to fight over whether or not Alison is using the info for a good cause. Daphne is also very motherly with Alison and tends to nag her about getting hurt and how dangerous her job is. Along with this she serves as Ali's mentor and taught the girl all she knows
How They Met: Daphne used to work with Alisons mother, Laura. Both of them were starting as Agents for MI5 back in the day. After Laura's untimely death Daphne gave Alison her brothers her contact info and gave them enough money to fly out to New York and rent a place to live. Eventually she retired and moved the To apartment across the street from Alison and her family.
What they do now: Daphne has always served as a mentor and mother figure for Alison teaching her how to fight, speak, manipulate, everything she would need in life to be Dragonfly. Along with that Daphne also has just always been around for the Reid family and uses her resources and connections to help get Alison new missions and to keep her surrogate family safe.
