You are in your apartment finishing up getting ready. You're wearing a casual dress and some tennis shoes. As you check yourself in the mirror you hear the speaker system buzz. You hear Link's voice chime on the speaker.

"Y/N? I'm outside." He says.

A smile spreads on your face and you run to the receiver. "I'll be down in a minute!" You say, trying to hide the anticipation in your voice. You grab your purse and head out. Outside of your building, Link leans against the railing of the few concrete stairs, wearing a t-shirt with a blazer over it with matching slacks. "You.... look incredible." The words just fell out of your mouth without any thought.

Link gives a chuckle as he looks at you. "That's my line. You really do though."

You look down, embarrassed, while fiddling with the skirt of your dress.

Link offers you his arm. "Shall we?" You take it, still looking down, smiling. He leads you to his car and opens the door for you, you slide in and he closes the door behind you, giving you a smile through the window once it's shut.

On the way there, the two of you engage in small talk, chatting about the show and the office. Once you get to the restaurant that you two agreed on, he once again opens the car door for you. The two of you walk in, he tells the host his last name, and the man leads the two of you to your table.

The atmosphere of the place is very romantic, low lighting, candles for the centerpieces. You take it all in and Link gives you an admiring smile as he gazes at you from across the table. Your eyes meet his. "I've never been somewhere like this. It's beautiful!"

"I thought you'd like it, at least this once. It's not really my style, but I thought for our first date, it'd be nice to take you somewhere... spectacular." He leans his chin on his hand, eyes sparkling as he looks into your eyes.

You feel your face get hot, and you turn your attention to your water as you take a drink. You both agreed not to drink wine since Link drove. As you put your glass down, you work up the nerve to look him in the eyes again. "I really do love it, but I agree, something a bit more casual would be just fine next time."

Link looks down and smiles. "I'm happy to hear you already talking about a next time."

You talk and laugh together throughout dinner, discussing different hobbies, interests, favorite GMM moments. After you're finished eating, Link pays the bill and the two of you head out. You make your way to the nearest theater to see a movie you and Link thought looked good. He buys the two of you a large popcorn and you head into the theater.

You find seats toward the middle, and the lights dim not too long after. As you watch you reach for the popcorn sitting on the arm rest in between you and Link. The two of you finish it quickly and Link puts the empty bucket on his lap, leaning over to you. You lean in and he brings his mouth inches from your ear.

"Did you want me to go get more?" He whispers.

"No that's okay." You respond, shaking your head and turning it ever so slightly, causing your eyes to meet and realize how close your faces are. Your face heats up again and you quickly push your back against the chair, facing the screen. You start to fidget with your hands, thinking about using the now free arm rest next to Link, but not wanting to take it in case he wants it.

Link notices your fidgeting and leans in once again, this time, seemingly closer. His voice is lower and huskier, sending chills down your neck. "You know, it's bad for you to fidget like that. Can I help?" He breathes as he leans in to grasp your hand in his. "Is this okay?" His voice softens as he says this. You simply nod in response, still looking at the screen, unable to speak. His fingers lace with yours and he brings your arm to the armrest in between you with his. The two of you stay that way for the rest of the film.

After the movie's over the two of you leave the theater. Once you're both in his car, he waits before starting the ignition. He turns to you, just his torso illuminated by the lights in the parking lot. After a moment of hesitation he speaks. "Would you hate me if we did something super cheesy next?"

You laugh and shake your head, after letting out a sigh. You hadn't even realized you had been holding your breath before he spoke. "That'd be fine! The night's still young."

He gives you a huge smile before starting the ignition. "Alright then, lessgo!"
