UNFORGETTABLE : PART 2

Prologue

John Cadre, a broke man, in New York, found a girl, fell in love with her, they had a good time but then, she was found dead one day.

Story

Later on that day.

"How can she do that? How did she believe that stupid Albert? I am going to kill that goose", said John to himself on the way to Albert's office.

*A loud car horn*

Car hit John and they called ambulance.

"He is alright, Just he had a typical memory loss. He did not remember anything of past few months. He will never be able to do that too", Said Doctor to a man waiting outside John's room.

"Yeah sure Doctor. May we have the formalities now? When will he be discharged?", He asked

"One more day. Your good name sir?", Asked doctor

"I am Albert, his friend"

Earlier on that day

"What happened Mr. Able?", Asked John to Kyle's father.

"Kyle killed herself", he said crying.

John was speechless, astonished, slapped himself to break the dream, but vained. She was no more.

John was not able to understand. He was in the world of questions just as you are.

"John?", Asked a man standing behind him, "If you want to know what happened, come to midway street, in evening. I'll be waiting".

"But who are you?", John turned back, and there was no one.

Evening, 18:00 same day

John was waiting in the mid way street, looking all the sides as far as his sight reached.

"I am here young man", said the man tapping him from behind.

"Who are you? Why you called me here? Do you know who killed Kyle?", Said John in confused tone and a bit angry.

"Oh oh wait young man. I'll tell you everything"

"You actually did not know Kyle", said the man to John.

"How can you even say that. I know i was with her not more than 20 days but she told me everything".

Everything? Do your partner tell you everything? Yeah, if they remember.

"But there is something beyond what you can imagine and beyond she knew"

"When she was born", man started describing, "she was not the ordinary child a parent could have or they could have demanded. She was born with a ability, the ability to forget"

22 years ago.

"Mr Able, there is a good and a bad news. You have a daughter baby, a beautiful cute little star, but you no more have your wife. We are so sorry about her", said the doctor to Kyle's father while giving him his daughter.

Mr. Able was not able to react. He was stunned by the glance of her daughter, but filled with feeling of vanity and pain of her wife. He decided to live onto the new life rather than crying on old.

"Mr. Able, while the baby was inside the mother's womb, she had an attack on her brain, which turned it into a great disability. She will not remember anything. As soon as the matter she grabs, she'll forget", explained doctor.

"That's an ability doctor", said the father with smile "But as she is my daughter i want her to be alright and all perfect"

They took her to US for the treatment. Doctors, were turning hard on their toes for the baby to be perfectly alright. But they failed.

Date - Thirteen

"Mr. Able, we are sorry but this operation did not work. But she had made improvements, she will remember everything for month and will forget. 13 is the lucky day for your girl, she will forget everything on 12th, 00:00", said the doctors.

Few years earlier

Kyle was 20 she completed school by remembering everything through photos his father had clicked. Her father was his her now and then, to click the photos. He checked her diary everyday and whenever she did not write what happened he asked her to do so.

Reading from the diary

Dear Diary,

This was the first time i felt love with somebody. It is the first time my heart fell for somebody. It is the first time i am laughing, laughing out loud.

He met me at the park. I saw him first, he was the most handsome man I've ever seen. Then he came to me, just as a man should. He was so gentle, he had a good fortune. He became the apple of my eye.

Albert as soon as i forget everything, i want to say you, i love you. I love you so much.

Present day

From then, his father on every 13th was reading that page of dairy to her. He was letting her feel the same everyday.

Its how easy for a father to ask a favour for her daughter. Her feelings and everything for her. But sometimes he get nothing. I mean everytime. But this time Albert also did not get anything.

Thats Albert's part of the story.

"So you now know why Albert helped you? Because he knew how to make her happy and he did not want to take away her happiness", said the man to John.

"But why did she killed herself? And if her father read the story why did she love me?"

"Answer to the first question, she killed her because Albert told her", replied the man, "On last month's 12th her father was out of town and there was heavy rain in all the parts and he has been diagnosed for his disease in US. Her daughter was here alone. And you met her on 13th. When she already forgot everything. And this month, Albert knowingly did not allow you to meet Kyle on 12th. He made her remember old Albert love story on 13th".

"He was not happy the way things were", continued the man "He was told by the doctors, that if this happens everytime, Kyle would have her neuro system blast, which will not let her live and not die too. So he tried to make things complicated. After your call, he explained everything about you and how she forgets and lied much more. He made herself look so guilty that she killed herself"

"The moron Albert is the reason for everything. I will kill him", said John and left the place.

"Sir, he has left the place and he said he would kill you, Please be aware, Sir", said the man on phone call after John left. "I told him truth about Kyle Forgeting ability"

"Good job. You'll be paid soon", said Albert on other side of phone.

"But sir he knows everything now that you killed her, he could go to police now"

"Don't worry, he'll forget that".

Why? This will not be answered sooooo soooonnn.

After filing the formalities, And a day later, he came to pick John.

"How do you feel young man", asked Albert.

"Good, but i don't remember anything", said John.

"Its not a problem my friend, you'll soon"

"I am going to washroom. Please excuse me"

"I did not forget you Kyle, you cheated on me, you are Unforgettable. But what happened to you? Where are you? How you look? I don't remember", said John to himself in washroom.

Don't want story to end? It is not ending here. John made 13th his unluckiest number ever and decided to move to Paris to forget everything and start new, and there he met a new girl. Want to know what happened??
