Your POV

I soon came to the front gates of Konoha. I looked at the doors and gave a half smile. I walked forwards, but was immediately stopped by two guards.

"State your name and reasons on being here?" One of the guards demanded.

I looked at them and nodded,"Since I'm just a passerby, my name isn't important. Reason on why I'm here, is to grab some supplies. I'll head off soon, so don't worry."

The guards nodded. They went to open the gates for me. As soon as it opened, I held my breathe. It looked the same as before. I bowed to them and slowly walked in. Looking around, I noticed how more lively it was. More kids ran down the streets, people walking around from shop to shop and much more. I was walking and taking the view of the small changes, until I was in front of Ichiraku Ramen.

I stared at it and moved the small streamers, as my guzheng made some clinking noises, as it hit my back. I looked up and noticed him. I slowly walked towards the stool and sat 2 seats away. I removed the instrument from my back and placed it down besides me. I took out my lyric book and a brush, and started jotting down some ideas. I was concentrated in thoughts, that I didn't notice someone was slightly behind me. I continued to write, until I noticed how close their presence was. I quickly snapped my book closed and stared straight forward, not wanting to look behind me. I didn't want to see him.

"Hey! I was just curious on what you were so into. No need to be rude." The person pouted.

I slowly side glanced at the person and mentally kicked myself. I didn't want to look at him anymore, so I quickly threw some money onto the table and packed my things. I picked up my guzheng and slung it over my shoulder. I quickly walked out and gave a huge sigh, as I was away from him. I didn't want him to notice who I was.

I walked around for a bit and noticed a small vacant area. Hm. Perfect place to set up and earn some quick money. I walked towards it and took off the instrument. I sat on the ground and placed it onto my lap, with small stands on the ends of it. Pulling out a small wooden carved box for money, I started playing. (Song from previous chapter). I quickly attracted people and quickly got money. They started to form a circle around me and swayed to the song. I played and played, until I heard whispering.

"It's that monster child!"
"A disgrace, I must say."
"Why would they accept someone like him?"
"Where are his parents?"
"He probably doesn't have one."
"That explains why he's so disgusting."

I slowly stopped playing and looked up. My eyes widened. It was him. I stared right at him. He slowly lifted his head up and met my gaze. I coldly stared into his blue eyes, sending shivers down his back. I sighed and looked away. I got up and dusted my bottom, picking up the guzheng and the small box of money. I bowed to the crowd and walked straight towards the gap they made for me. I started walking towards the gate, but felt a hand on my sleeve. I quickly stopped and stood there.

"E-excuse me, but I heard you paid for me at the ramen shop on this very day. Why is it you do that? Do you know me? Who are you?"

My heart cracked slowly. I slowly turned towards him and leaned to his height. I gave him a sad, close eyed smile.

"Someone you should've forgot about." I poked his forehead and straighten up.

I walked out the gates and bowed to the two guards. I walked towards the forest and vanished from within sight from him. You don't need to know me, Naruto. I'm sorry. I was walking aimlessly into the forest, but came upon a small lake. I walked towards it and sat on a boulder besides the lake.

The lake was glistening in the sunlight. I laid my guzheng down and laid myself down, too. I spread my arms and legs apart, took a deep breathe and stared into the bright sky. I closed my eyes and let the sound of nature swallow me. I was slowly falling into sleep, but was disturbed by a small rustling sound from the bushes. I still held my eyes closed, pretending I was asleep.

I heard light, soft footsteps walking towards me. I was calm the entire time. This always happened, so I got bored of waiting and sat up. The footsteps stopped awhile ago, but I knew they were still around.

I threw a kunai towards their direction,"If you're here to kill me, just do it. I'm tired of waiting."

Their footsteps were heard and I looked at their direction.
