|first mission pt1|

Your POV

Lifelessly crawling towards my bathroom, I managed to clean myself up. I washed my face the second time in cold water and shut the faucet off. Sighing, I looked down at my clenched hands.

"Tsk. First day and I'm crying? What a pity." Slowly lifting my head, I stared into my lifeless eyes and forged a smile,"What. A. Pity."

I turned the bathroom lights off and grabbed my weapons. Quickly fixing loose bandages, I opened my door and walked into the hall, but bumped into someone.

"Oh! (Y/n), I forgot to give you your cloak. Here ya go."

I stared at the cloak and looked up towards the person. I smiled and took the cloak, putting it on.

"Thank you, Konan. It fits perfectly." Giving her closed eye smile, she nodded and walked away towards Pain's office.

I brushed my bangs from my face and sighed. I stared up at the ceiling, with one hand on my hip, and closed my eyes. Guess I need to go to Pain's office, too, for my first mission. Deeply exhaling, I walked towards his office, knocking first. It was few seconds later, until a 'come in' was heard. I twisted the doorknob and walked in bowing.

"Ah, it's you, (Y/n). Glad you came. I was going to send Konan after you, since I heard Tobi wanted to play with you earlier, but Konan please go get the two I asked for." Pain monotonously commanded towards Konan. She bowed and walked out of the office.

"What kind of mission is this leader-sama? Isn't it, too, soon for me to start a mission-"

He quickly cut me off, waving his hand,"I seen your skills with Itachi and I see potential in you."

"But leader-" Being cut off again, Konan walked in with Kakuzu and Hidan.

I looked at the two men. Kakuzu blankly stared, while Hidan was getting irritated.

"Why the hell are we fucking going on a mission with a bitch!?" Hidan semi-yelled.

"Shut up, Hidan." Kakuzu blankly answered.

I turned towards Pain,"Here are the information s for your mission. I expect it to be done within 2 days. I suggest pack up now and leave right away."

Kakuzu took the folder and inspected it. His green eyes scanned over the papers and nodded in approval. He stuffed the folder into his cloak.

"Alright then. You may leave now."

We all bowed towards Pain and left. Kakuzu walked towards his room, leaving me with Hidan. I stared at his face and took in his features. He's decent. If only he wasn't such an asshole. My thoughts were cut off, as I was pinned by the throat to the wall.

"You're pretty cute, but you think your all that. Watch it, you bitch, or else I'll sacrifice you to Jashin." He still holding on to his choke hold, smirked in triumph,"Scared bitch!"

I stared into his eyes and leaned forwards towards him, with his hand still on my throat,"Hm. Maybe I was wrong. You're pretty ugly."

I fazed through his body and walked into my room, leaving a confusedly angry Hidan in the hall. I quickly packed the essential and walked out the hideout. I saw Kakuzu and Hidan waiting.

"Let's go before it gets dark." Kakuzu marked. I simply nodded and walked behind the two slowly.

-Short time skip-

We were in some forests by now. I was still clueless on what the mission was. It was already getting dark and Kakuzu said the village was 50 minutes away, so we set up for the night.

Hidan was long gone, to go sacrifice for Jashin, and Kakuzu was on the ground cross-legged, counting money. I decided to be useful and get some wood for the fire. I walked off further from camp and pulled out my all time favorite weapon.

It was a pretty hefty weapon. It may look light, but I created this weapon to be 1,000 pounds. The blades were as long as my arm and the chain was as long as my body.

I swung one of the blades in a circle and flung it towards a tree, slicing through it. It came down, but before it hits the ground, I jumped up and quickly sliced the tree to log sized pieces. Each piece fell down with a loud thud. I fell back down onto the ground and picked up all the stacks of logs. Having 20 stacks on each arm, I walked back towards our set up.

When I arrived, Hidan was sleeping in his tent and Kakuzu was still counting his money. I slowly dropped down the logs and threw some into the fire. I watched as the flames danced around for a good solid 5 minutes. I got bored, so I went over to Kakuzu. I sat 2 feet from him and stared at his money.

"Mind if I help?"

He briefly looked up and shook his head in deniel,"You will get in the way only. Just go sleep."

I stayed quiet for another 5, but eventually I sat right in front of his face,"You're not the only one who's money hungry."

He slightly looked up towards me and sighed,"Fine, but you better not steal any money, or I'll kill you."

I smiled, as he handed me a small box full of money. Most of the night was filled with money counting and the loud snores of Hidan. Eventually we got tired and managed to finish up. I walked towards a tree and climbed up. I climbed towards the top and stared up into the dark sky. There were very little stars out tonight. I laid down and folded my arms behind my head, staring blankly out into the dark. I closed my eyes and breathed in the cool night air. Slowly drifting off to sleep, I mumbled out quietly.

"Maybe. Just maybe. One day."

A/n- I am alive and thriving of stress. 2nd qaurter semester finals are over with and now a 3 week break. Bless! I was low-key having like other ideas for this chapter, but changed it up bc the original idea was pretty lame. Anyway, I am glad to be back!😌
