"s-she was in a plane crash" Mackenzie struggled to say
I take the phone away from my ear and try to process what had just been said.
"she is ok though right?" I ask
"well they said that 3 people died and 10 are severely injured, the hospital can't tell me if Madison is any of those people" Mackenzie replies
"ok well tell me if you hear anything, please" I sigh
I walk back downstairs to tell my mum what I had just heard. I lay my head on her shoulder while creating a wet patch on her shoulder from all my tears. She slowly rubs my back trying to comfort me but it just isn't working. I can't lose Madison, I just can't. She is my love and I will never give up on her. After hours of sitting on my bed watching tv trying to distract myself from the thought of Madison being hurt, I get a call from Mackenzie.
"Corbyn I've just received news about Madison" Mackenzie states
"well.." I say
"she luckily isn't dead but she is severely hurt" Mackenzie cries
"ok I'm coming to LA now"
I tell my family what I am doing and they all agree. I begin to pack my bags and walk out to my car, which my Ashley is driving so she can take the car back.
"I know she will make it Corbs don't worry she is strong, independent and sweet" Ashley says
"thanks" I reply trying not to cry
We finish driving, I get out of the car and head towards my gate. Before I get to my gate I discover a Starbucks and I decided to get a drink. I get my drink, finish it and throw it out. And get on my plane. At first, I was shaking thinking of all the things that could happen because Madison might not be ok just because of a plane. The plane went smoothly and the plane finally landed. I grab all of my bags and head out of the plane. I was walking throughout the airport when I saw Mackenzie. It looked like she had been crying for days. It had currently been 2 days since Madisons accidentally and Makenzie and I had been texting constantly as she was telling me how she was.
"CORBYN" she yelled as she ran up and hugged me
"Hey, how are you?" I asked
"I'm not the best" Mackenzie says
"well I'm here for you now"
"she isn't doing well Corbyn"
"how, why" I ask starting to worry
"she hasn't woken up yet and her condition hasn't gotten any better"
"oh" I reply
I begin to cry and Mackenzie just pulls me into a hug. Why did this have to happen to Madison? Why? We pull away from the hug and drive towards the hospital. The car ride was pretty silent as we were only thinking about what would happen to Madison if she didn't wake up. When we arrived at the hospital I ran inside and asked for Madison's room. They told me the room and as I was walking towards the room I saw Matt and Bella faced down sitting outside her room.
"omg Corbyn it's so good to see you" Bella says hugging me
"it's good to see you too" I reply
I pull out of the hug and walked into Madison's hospital room. I saw her laying on her bed with no expression. It crushed my heart into 1 thousand pieces. She can't die, she just can't. She is strong I know her. She will make it. I told myself hoping this was all a dream and that I would wake up from this nightmare and that Madison would be ok. But this was no nightmare it was all real.
