Welcome to the begin of a story to remember! Well who am I? I am the one who tells the story of course, your narrator. But enough of me, I have a story for you!

It all starts with Madison, a beautiful eight year old. Dark brown hair reaching just under her shoulders, brown eyes, the kind you can just melt in, a funny looking smile with her lost two front teeth. She was a skinny girl, but very athletic. Best of all, she was the sweetest girl you could ever meet. She looks like she has it all in a tight little bow! Right?

One day Madison became sick, a week before school started. A high fever of 105. It was a awful day for dear Madison. Especially when she was awoken, she found her parents weren't there holding her hand. They had "more important" things to do than be with their sick daughter. Instead she found Dr. Lexie at her side. When they were introduced, Madison was brought the awful news, that she had cancer.

After that it wasn't easy. Her hair fell out and people picked on her. Countless treatments and test were conducted, for the soul purpose of what? Being in a life she didn't want to live anymore? She slowly lost her friends when she was getting too depressed to communicate with them. Her parents didn't know how to comfort her, they were complete rich people. You know, the people who made others jealous with looks, cars, houses, and best of all, money. Times were extremely tough for Madison.

At the closing end of third grade loneliness was normal, and the usual being picked on wasn't bothering her as bad. She felt okay except for the countless high fevers. The only thing that bothered her was her dreams. She always dreamed of a world called Morte. It was like her second life, her second chance. With a best friend named Alexis, in these loving dreams. They battled evil to get the item that would save the realm. It was a everlasting battle.

As life went on she went from eight to nine, nine to ten, and finally ten to eleven. Still picked on but with hopeful spirits she was alive, but barely hanging on. With many scarce moments in life, she was forced to be homeschooled. Isolated from not only her world but from Morte too. As her dreams slowly started to fade, so did Morte altogether. Starting with the missions, then her best friend, and finally Morte. Reality was her only comfort, facing what was real. Her life would end unless God gave her a miracle.

At her full doubting point, he gave her a miracle. Sad enough though, it wasn't caring parents he gave (which she wanted most) or a healthy heart. It was something greater! A magical life in her childhood. A new shot at life from a different point of view.
