Austin's pov

I stood still as I waited for her to say something. Anything. I practically said I loved you! who does that? Well she did say it first... I don't know this whole situation is weird.

"Honestly... I think I would like that too." Juliette said. Out of no where oli comes crashing in the room panicked

"Skye! She got Skye!" He yelled at us.

"Who?" I ask but I have a feeling who.

"Gail."

"Shit. Already? the war is starting know? but we need a little more time! fuck!"

"We don't have time, we need to get her austin!"

"Not yet! oli, I know. I get it but we can't just barge in there, claws ablazin' and expect to win. We have to wait and create a plan ok? give me two days. That's all I ask."

He looked at me not convinced.

"Ok. But if she dies, I'm coming after you." He says and walks out.

"Fucking hell. Ok,come Juliette. We gotta plan." He says, taking my hand and leading me down stairs to his dining room.

"Oli, did you call your pack?" I asked.

"Yea."

"When they get here, start rounding up everyone else. Make the calls and have everyone in here by 12 tonight."

"What are we to do?" Juliette asked.

"We gotta set up." I reply. I led her to the back of the house were I keep the spear rooms. I grab some blankets and sheets and give them to Juliette so we can start making the rooms. We finished all 12 rooms so I took her to the only room she hasn't been in yet. My training room.

"What is this place?" she asked.

"I gotta train to. How do you think that any hunters haven't got me? I practice my moves." I explain. My room is much different, where her room is for hand to hand combat and firearms, mine is pretty much dummies and targets everywhere, and machines that shoot plastic pellets at me. I have a few other things as well.

I go to the back to were a door is and open it. Inside is a huge table and a map of the town and surrounding ones.

"This is were we will plan for the next few days." I say. She nods her head in response.

"They will be coming in about an hour so we should probably just stay here and wait for them." I say. She nods her head and we sit in an awkward silence for a few before I speak again.

"So... how's your training?" she gives me a look like 'are you serious?' but answers anyway.

"Fine austin."

"And josh?"

"Good I suppose."

"Good, good... so... schoolwork?"

"I finished school."

"When?"

"About two months after I dropped out."

"Oh." And it's awkward again.

"Look, I'm just gonna say it, no beating around the bush, just straight for it. Just dive right into what I gotta say, no dela-"

"Austin!"

"Sorry. Ok, so jay, you know how I feel and I know how you feel. We can't just ignore it so... will you go out with me?"

"Dude! were in the middle of a war and your asking me out?!"

"So like... no?" I ask really confused on how this is going. She smiles a little.

"Ask me after we win." She says and leaves it at that. Not two minutes later oli and his pack come in with everyone else trailing behind him. Everyone takes there seats and looks to me.

"Ok. So..."

We all are to nervous to talk and honestly. I love it. I hate that it's my sister but I haven't seen any action in a while. Me, jay, oli, Vic and kellin are all in the first car. We decided to split it up and if we needs back up they would come. Oli's pack is close behind us so they can keep an eye on him.

"Juliette. Do your parents know where you are?" oli asks jay.

"Um. I left a note. I said that I would be back in a couple of days and I would explain then."

"Hmm. You know there probably tracking your ass right?"

"What?! no way, I think I would notice."

"Your phone, clothes, jewelry, teeth. There's a lot of options here."

"Fucking shit are you serious? I'm screwed. Royally fucked." Oli just shook his head. She looked to me and I shrugged while trying to keep hold of the steering wheel.

"I don't know either, don't look at me, your the one with a tracking device In your mouth." I say to her.
