Spartacus's Little Sister (Oenomaus love story)

Chapter One

I was born in a Thracian Tribe. I had an older brother. I was just 17 years old when I was captured. My brother had gone to war to help a man in exchange for that they destroy our enemy. My brother gave his word that he and our Thracian Tribe would help. But the Roman broke his word. I was out with my sister-in-law Sura picking fruit when the enemy tribe came and attacked our village. Lucky for Sura and I. My brother got there in time to save us. By the time we had slaughtered all the men who attacked us. Our village was up in flames we thought everyone dead. So the three of us travelled as far from the village as we could before dark. We set up camp after making sure we were not followed. I went to sleep before they did. The next morning the Romans came. I only got away because my brother was blocking their view of me. It allowed me to sneak out the back of the tent. My brother and Sura were not so lucky. I will always remember the face of the man who took my family from me. A man who went by the name of Gaius Claudius Glabber. I was on the run for two weeks living off of the land. I was eventually captured by the Romans. I was sold into slavery I went through three Dominus's before I landed with a mean one. He tried to force himself on me I was a virgin. I slaughtered him in cold blood before he was able to rape me. That brings us to where I am now.

I am now sitting in the Dungeon of the Arena. I was sentenced to die by a gladiatorial. I was to face one of Solonus's men. I still wore my Thracian clothes. I looked up as I heard footsteps. I saw two Roman soldiers walking towards me.
"It is time slave!" One of the soldiers spat at me. He unlocked my chains and handed me a sword. As we walked I saw gladiators looking at me with shock when they seen the sword in my hands. When I stepped onto the sand I saw a man about the same size as my brother was step on the sand. The crowd cheered as he walked out. One of the Romans gave the signal for the fight to begin. He ran at me and swings his sword at me. I ducked slashing him in the back with my sword. Each time he would swing his sword I would block him. I hit him with fast strong strikes until I had him on his knees in front of me. As he was kneeling in front of me I slit his throat killing him just as my older brother had taught me. I looked up at the Roman judges and saw them all sitting there with shocked looks.
One of the Romans stood up.
"This Thracian Athena has shown promise in the arena so I Quintus Lentulus Batiatus grant her life." The fans went crazy when he said this. I turned around and walked back to where all the men who fought. As I stepped through the gate I was approached by a dark skinned man. He was wearing a protective vest.
"I am Oenomaus. How did you learn to fight like that?" He asked.
"I learned everything I know about sword fight from my older brother." I replied.
"Well he taught you well." He says before turns and walks away. A Roman soldier leads me back to my cell in the dungeon. He attached the chains back to my wrists and ankles. After sitting me back on the ground. 15 minutes later Oenomaus comes back in with that same Roman soldier. They unchain me.
"Do I have to hold you or can you walk nicely." Oenomaus asks.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"You have been purchased to be trained in the ludus to Quintus Lentulus Batiatus. I am known there by Doctore." He explained.
"Gladiators. Yes I can walk nicely. You know the only reason I was here was because I slaughtered my old Dominus because he tried to rape me. I am a virgin I didn't want my first time to be by rape. I wanted it to be with someone I love." I say to Oenomaus as we walk to catch up with the other gladiators.
Once we got to the Ludus. I saw someone I thought I would never see again. My eyes started tearing up. Oenomaus looks at me and sees my tears and asks. "What is wrong Athena?"
"I see my brother. I thought I would never him again. After Glabber captured him and Sura. He distracted the Roman's long enough for me to slip out the back and run." I explained. My brother upon hearing my voice whipped his head in my direction. His eyes widened seeing me. I ran straight into my brother's arms.
"Athena. What happened little sister?" He says. Because as soon as I was in his arms I started crying. He rocked back and forth like he used to when I was just a child.
" I was caught 2 weeks after you were caught I had 3 Dominus's before I landed with my last Dominus. He tried to force himself on me against my will so I slaughtered him in cold blood. I was sentenced to die in the style gladiatorial. I killed the man as well. I was then purchased by Batiatus." I replied after I had finished crying in my brother's chest.
"I am proud of you little sister. I am known as Spartacus. I will protect you now little sister." Spartacus says shocking everyone. I hug him once more.
"Athena can you come up please." My new Dominus commanded. I nodded. I looked at Oenomaus in fear. He gave me a reassuring look. I walked upstairs into the Villa to where Dominus was.
"Yes Dominus." I asked.
"I couldn't help but overhear you conversation with Spartacus. You two are siblings." He asks.
"Yes Dominus." I reply.
"Why did you kill you previous Dominus?" He asks.
"Because he tried to force himself on me. I am untouched. I always thought that it was sacred and something that should be only given to my husband someday." I explained.
"I understand. Ok go and join the other gladiators tell Oenomaus I want you to room with him for your own safety." He replies.
"Yes Dominus." I reply turning around and going back to the Ludus. I walk over to Oenomaus.
"Doctore." I say as I reach him.
"Yes. Athena what is it." He asks.
"Dominus says I am to room with you for my own safety." I say.
"Ok. I will show where our cell is and then when the other gladiators are done in the baths. You and I will wash up. Don't worry I won't look. Ok." He replies.
"Ok." I reply.
"We will have to share a bed though." He says.
"You won't try anything right." I ask.
"I won't do anything you don't willingly want." He says.

Half an hour later Oenomaus and I are in the baths washing up. I turned to ask Oenomaus what training was like instead I landed up blushing. Oenomaus had his vest off and I could see his chest. I will admit I had a small crush on Oenomaus. He looks at me and sees my blushing face and smiles. He walks over to me and sat down beside me. He grabs the cloth from my hand washes the back of my neck and back. I felt shivers run down my back. I blushed even more. Once we were down bathing. We dressed and headed back to our cell. Once inside he locked it from the inside. He took all of his clothes off except for his underwear. He got into bed. I took my shoes off and got into bed beside him. He covered us both up with a blanket. He wrapped his arms around me. I cuddled up to him. I placed my head on his chest and fell asleep to the sound of his heart.
