Crush?!

I ended up staying the night at Lance's... Ever since the kiss, we were silent... We didn't talk... I just ruined a good friendship... During the middle of the night, I snuck out leaving cause I didn't want to face him... I... Couldn't face him...

I didn't get much sleep... I got to school ignoring everyone... I walked past Lance's group hoping no one noticed me before one spoke, "Keith?" It was Hunk, I froze, then turned slowly, "yeah...?" I looked at him, "Where are you going?" Hunk asked, "Oh uh... I'm just gonna put some books in my locker... I'll be back..." I lied walking away. "Did something happen Lance?" Hunk looked at him, "No... It's fine..." Lance sighed. I sighed as well and waited for the bell to ring... As soon as it rang I knew I wasn't going to be free... Since Lance is my lab partner...I walked to class, and there he was... sitting tall smiling acting like nothing was wrong... But there was something wrong... The only thing really keeping me happy is his smile...

I sat next to Lance looking at my sweating palms I could tell... I was going to have a panic attack... Lance put a note in my leather jacket then looked back at the teacher. "Ok! We are going to have a project coming soon and you have to have a partner! I will be choosing who you work with!" Coran said, "Allura and Lance!, Axca and Lotor!, Pidge and Hunk!, Nyma and Rolo! Romelle and Narti! Zethrid and Ezor!" Coran said then named the last ones, "Oh... Seems we have one extra student..." Coran looked at me, "Would anyone want to work with three people?!" Coran asked, "We will!" Lance yelled, "Ok Keith you will work with Allura and Lance..."Coran said and soon the bell rang. Lance walked out and I was almost the last one out till I heard Allura speaking to Coran, "Hey Uncle can I switch groups and work with Axca and Lotor?" She asked using puppy eyes, "Yeah sure... But don't get distracted you all have to work." Coran said. I walked out and soon it was finally lunch...

I took the chance took look at the note Lance gave me and it had said that Lance wanted to meet me at the front of the school to talk. So that is where I went. Lance was waiting for me... "Hey..." Lance looked at me, "H-hey..." I said quietly, "Look about yesterday..." Lance began, "Can we just forget about it..." I said, "I-I guess... I just wanted to say..." Lance started "I liked it..." he smiled the bell rang right as he said it... Lance then walked away...

It was the end of the day and Lance decided to walk me home even if I refused...My anxiety was kicking in once again my breathing beginning to go fast, Lance put his hand on my shoulder and I started to calm a little more. "It's gonna be ok Keith..." Lance smiled, I nodded and just walked with him...

We reached my house and I put my key in the door and opened it quietly... My father was nowhere in sight... There was a note on the table... "Good Luck feeding for yourself... I won't be coming back...I took all the food..." I crumpled the note up. "What is it?" Lance asked, "He left... With everything..." I sighed. "Oh... Then come on... You're staying with me..." Lance said, "Can't I at least grab my stuff from my room?" I asked, "Oh yeah let's go." Lance answered and we walked upstairs. I walked in pulling out a suitcase I had and I started packing my clothes into it.  I grabbed my drawing tablet putting it in the suitcase I also had a laptop and put it in the zipped my suitcase and we walked to Lance's.

"Mamá, ¿está bien si mi amiga se queda aquí por un tiempo?" Lance asked (Mom is it ok if my friend stays here for a while?) "Claro, ¿quién es?" (Sure, who is it?) Lance's mom asked, "It's my friend Keith he came over yesterday but it turns out he needs to stay here for a bit..." Lance said, "Well he can stay as long as he wants" Lance's mom smiled and went to help out Lance's nieces and nephews. "Are you sure... I can stay...?" I asked, "Yes... You can stay as long as you want..." Lance smiled, "Should we get Allura here and work on the project?" Lance asked, "Actually... Allura switched groups... So we can work on it now..." I said, "Oh..." Lance looked a little sad, "Did you want to work on the project with...her?" I asked, "I've sort of had a crush on her since we were kids... But... She's dating Lotor... So I flirt with girls to distract my mind away from her..." He sighed and looked down, "Lance... What is your sexuality..." I asked, "I'm bisexual..." Lance looked at me, "Ah..." I answered... I might actually have a chance... "What is... yours...?" Lance looked at me curiously, "I-I'd rather not say..." I looked down, "Oh come on you can tell me... I promise I won't tell anyone~" Lance started to act a little flirtatious, "I- I uh... I'm... Gay..." I looked at him. Suddenly Lance had backed away a little. "I think I should leave..." I sighed getting up grabbing my bag about to walk away when Lance grabbed my wrist... I turned to look at him our faces fairly close... "L-Lance...?" I leaned back a little but he put his arm around my waist so I wouldn't fall.

"Keith... it's fine... Your sexuality is what makes you.... well you, and nothing should change that, I backed away cause I had realized what I had said to you and it made me feel bad..." he sighed. "O-Oh... o-ok..." I looked down a little. "We should start working on the project..." Lance said, I nodded and we pulled out our papers and began to work.
