Lance...

Keith's POV

I woke up in the hospital... "Keith..!" Krolia ran over and hugged me, she was still in her Blade Of Marmora outfit, "Wh-where's Lance and Shiro...?" I asked seeing that everyone was here except them, "Shiro and Lance saved you but I thought they'd be back by now..." Matt said. "Keith I have a question..." she looked at me, "yeah?" I looked at her, "I need to speak to him in private" I said Everyone, nodded and walked out of the room, "Keith... I'm letting you join the blade... This is secret... We need to leave... I already told Texas to sign you out, change into this uniform and follow me..." Krolia spoke, "O-Ok" I nodded and jumped off the bed grabbing the outfit and put it on. Krolia and I jumped out the window, good thing we were on the first floor, then we ran away. We got to the building were Lance and Shiro was and we saw an explosion... "No!!!" I yelled.

Shiro's POV

Lance and I were still sitting here, we got up and soon there was an explosion... I guess Keith's adoptive father had a bomb for if he got caught... There we were Lance and I stumbled down the hill I managed to get on my feet and slide but Lance kept rolling until we reached the end and I grabbed a tree then Lance hit the tree with his back and he yelled in pain. "Lance!!!" I Picked him up and looked around to find a way and I saw a way that wasn't too hard to climb with Lance in my arms. I climbed up and panted as I tried to catch my breath. Keith stared at us his eyes red from crying.

"Lance!!" Keith ran over, Lance told me to let him down so I did and the two lovebirds embraced in a giant hug.

"I missed you..." Keith smiled, "I missed you too... Now, are you ok? how are the lashes...?" Lance said worried, "I'm fine just sore..." Keith smiled.

Keith's POV

I helped Lance walk and we got to his house and I helped him out of his armour and laid him down. "Th-Thanks." Lance smiled, "I need you to pull off the top half of your clothing so I can see if you are injured anywhere important." I said, Lance nodded and pulled the zipper down to show his back and chest/stomach, "ok... I'm gonna put a little pressure tell me if it hurts..." I said, "o-ok." he smiled weakly and I began pressing on his stomach. Nothing. He turned onto his back and my eyes widened... "Lance..." I put a hand over my mouth. "What...?" Lance questioned, "can you feel pain right now...?" I asked, "n-no... e-everything is numb..." Lance said. "Fuck." I said and I picked up Lance and ran out as fast as I can "Is Lance ok?!" Sylvio Lance's nephew asked, "h-he's fine, is there a vehicle I can use?" I asked, "Yeah Lance's truck, the keys are on that hook!" Sylvio pointed at them, "thank you Sylvio tell your mom Lance, is at the hospital, he's just got a small pain he'll be fine tough." I smiled holding in tears then I kissed Sylvio's forehead.

  I then ran out grabbing the keys and I laid Lance in the back then got in immediately driving. I sped to the hospital and parked grabbing Lance and ran into the ER, "Help!" I yelled and ran in, "Get a gurney stat!" a nurse yelled and a man ran over and took Lance and they ran into a surgery room... I fell onto my knees and put my hands over my face crying. Lance's mom came in and walked over hugging me soon the rest of the McClain family came and hugged me too, "h-huh...?" I looked at them, "We are here for you... Any friend, boyfriend, or girlfriend of Lance McClain is a McClain too." She smiled, "h-heh... Thanks..." I smiled and noticed little Sylvio right in front of me hugging my stomach, I smiled and hugged him back soon Nadia, Lance's niece walked over and hugged me too, "Thank you little Nadia and thank you Sylvio..." I smiled then stood up and held Nadia.

A few hours Later

Lance walked out with a brace around his back. I ran over and hugged him lightly making sure not to hurt him, Lance smiled and kissed me "You ok...?" Lance asked, "Yes, yes... Your family helped me...  but are you ok...?" I asked Lance nodded, "Let's get you home..." I smiled. Lance smiled and I drove him home, Nadia and Sylvio came with us and kept asking questions like what happened and why was he hurt, "He just fell he'll be fine Sylvio and Nadia." I said reassuring them. Nadia and Sylvio nodded, I looked at Lance and he was staring out the window, "Hey... " I said, "Hey..." Lance smiled and looked at me, We got home and Sylvio and Nadia were sent to bed and Lance and I walked to his room, "I'm gonna sleep on the floor." I said, "Why?" he looked at me, "Because I don't wanna hurt your back..." I said, "It'll be fine." Lance smiled and picked me up laying me down and he got on top of me kissing me then he laid down next to me. "I love you." I smiled, "I love you too." Lance smiled and we fell asleep holding each other's hands.

In the morning we got up and walked to the park and the others came over, "Oh my gosh Lance are you ok!?" Allura yelled, "I'm fine." Lance smiled. Shiro looked to blame... He didn't catch Lance fast enough and he felt bad... "Keith can I talk to you..." Shiro looked at me, I nodded and we walked over to the other side of the park, "I failed..." Shiro spoke, "You didn't fail..." I looked at him, "I didn't catch Lance in time, I could have saved him..." Shiro looked down, "Shiro... You were caught off guard it's fine... let's go..." I gave him a reassuring smiled and we walked back. "So what are we gonna do today?" Pidge asked, "Relax." Lance said.
