"I need to be honest with you..." Mom takes my arm and pulls me to the end of the parking lot where no cars are. "Now listen to me carefully" mom says as she grabs my hands. I can feel myself getting really nervous and shaking. "Can you just hurry and tell me" I say with a trembling voice. It's not very often that my mom is this way. In a quiet voice she says "he, he found us." I look at her as she looks down at the ground. "Mom look at me." I take my hand and put it under her chin to push her head up. "Who found us?"I ask trying to remain calm. She looks at me with tears in her eyes. "Your umm.." she stops speaking and her lip quivers. "Mom who? We can't talk about it if I don't know who this person is." "Your father.." she says trying to clear her throat. I let go of her hands and feel my legs start to wobble. I walk over to a tree and lean on it. I whisper to myself "just great! Isn't this wonderful! Now we have to worry about this asshole!" My mom has told me so much stuff about him. And let's say it's not the greatest. She said he left when I was a baby because he didn't want the responsibility. My mom had me when she was 16 so her and my father were teen parents. She makes him seem like a dick but sometimes I think to myself at night that maybe he isn't so bad. Maybe he had a better reason. Then I hear a car horn honk. I see my moms car. I run over and hop in the front seat. I look in the back seat and what I see next will change my life forever...
