Chapter 5

~Claire's pov~
    Lance was pretty banged up. I can't believe Keith and Shiro did this. I guess Lance realized that I was upset with the actions of my boyfriend because he then said " hey don't blame Keith. He was trying to protect Shiro. He didn't know what was going on. It was really my fault" he confessed. "Who is this 'Pidge' chick anyway? Is she some stray you guys found or something?" I asked. Lance got up. "Pidge is not just some CHICK! She is my best friend, and the heart and soul of the Voltron club. She means everything to us. She helped Keith get over leaving his mother, and  helped Shiro come out. She has been my wingman, and is Matt's best friend. She is Matt's biological little sister yes. But she is all of our little sisters, according to our hearts. So she is more than some stray we picked up.  Because at one point, all of us were strays. She picked us up and made us tame house cats." He explained. I finally understand. I had to meet this girl. To see if she was what Lance made her out to be.

~lance's pov~
   I walked to Pidge's dorm after leaving Claire's place.  I knocked at her door once again.  This time with no reason to cry.  It felt like deja vu,  I knocked once more. I was about to leave but I heard a faint yell,  "I'm coming". She opened the door. "Oh it's you?! "Katie said rolling her eyes.  " Listen pidge,  I'm sor-" I started but was cut off by a familiar voice.  It was the voice of the same senior Allura cheated on me with.  "Katie, are you sure this is English?  Like a hundred percent sure? " He asked.  She sighed.  "Yes Lotor.  I'm sure.  It's called a variable,  now continue Lance. " She said.  " Um. Listen I'm sorry.  And to apologize I wanted to hang out with you Friday night.  We can watch movies,  eat pizza or takeout.  Anything you wanna do.  " I mumbled the last part.  She smiled and nodded.  We hugged and I left.  I finally got my best friend back.
