I had walked into the gym and sat behind the desk. My coworker, Lucia, sat next to me. "You ready for a whole bunch of hot guys?" She nudged her shoulder with mine. I chuckled just as some people started to come in.
My name is MiaKoda Martinez. I am 20 years old. I have been trying to get a decent job ever since I graduated high school, but never had any luck. My mother works as a nurse assistant, but her pay is low. I have two younger siblings and was made to get a job. My father....well my father is dead.
"Hello." I looked up and noticed this very cute man. He seemed to be young, maybe in his early 20's. I got up and went up to the desk.
"What could I help you with today?" I asked and looked up at him.
"I want to start a gym member ship." His voice was low, but kind. Lucy looked at me and smiled. I blushed slightly before looking at him.
"Okay, please fill out these papers and then we will do your pay and that's all." I said and gave him the forms.
"Hey Koda?" I looked and saw Lucy swinging her arm around my shoulders. I nod my head slightly telling her to go on. She smirked, "aren't you still looking for a job? Didn't you get fired from the last one?"
"Yes Lucy, I'm still looking for a job." I said not bothered. It was true after all, but she could've said that after the man left.
"You're looking for a job?" The man asked. My head snapped up to meet his.
"Yeah...money is short these days." I spoke softly and awkwardly scratched the back of my head. He smiled warmly at that and bit his lip as is he was thinking. After a while he spoke.
"Well. I know a job where they're hiring for a secretary?" He suggested and looked at me. My eyes lit up and I looked at him with a wide smile.
"Really?! What's their pay like?!" I enthusiastically asked. He chuckled and gave me their business card.
"Call this number and tell them that Jeon Jungkook told you about the job, then you should be able to go in for the interview in a week or so after you call." He smiled and gave me the form and his credit card.
"So you want a full year membership and pay every month or pay all of it now?" I asked as I read over the form to make sure he didnt leave anything blank. It was expensive, mostly because this was a private gym place.
"I want to pay all of it now." He stated. I nod and inserted his card into the square reigerster before having him put in his pin. He smiled at me as I gave his card back.
"Here is your membership card. If you ever misplace it or something happens to it. It will be another thirty dollars to replace." I said. He put it in his wallet and nod.
"Am I allowed to go work out now or do I have to wait?" He asked and pointed to the door.
"You can go now. Just make sure to scan the card on the sensor and yeah. That's pretty much it." I smiled, he smiled back and looked at his shoes.
"Well, Miss...."
"Ah! My name is MiaKoda Martinez." I said with an embarrassed smile.
"Mis MiaKoda, I hope to see you soon." He said with a smile and walked away. I blushed slightly and looked at Lucy who gave me a thumbs up.
"You get it girl!" She excitingly said. I laughed slightly and looked towards the door.
