Following Demi's public break-up with her boyfriend Wilmer in 2016, she reconnects with her ex Joe Jonas after he begins following her on instagram.

Demi had made it back to her hotel room, and when she opened the her room door to find Joe sitting on her bed waiting for her.
"Joe........ what are you doing here well I'm glad your here I wanted to tell you something but I think I might be too late to say," Demi said walking in the room closing the door behind her.
"Me and Gigi broke up.........," Joe said looking up at Demi.
Demi stood there in shock, but did she want to be happy for him or sad at the same time she thought they were doing fine as a couple so many thoughts running threw her head until Joe spoke up again.
"We both realized that we just didn't belong together and that each of us were missing something and Gigi pointed it out to me," Joe said standing up walking towards Demi.
"And what was it that you were missing Joe," Demi replied.
"My best friend and love of my life......... it's you Demi," Joe said taking her hand and pulling her close to him. "I-I don't know what to say," Demi replied speechless.
"You don't have to say thing just let me say it...... Demi my life is nothing with out you..... you were always the one that I wanted," Joe said. Demi started to back away from Joe but he pulls her back into a hug.

"I've missed you so much I thought I could move on from you," Demi replied back her face in Joe's neck. They hold each other for a couples of minutes until Demi says.
"Austin knew that I wasn't over you and he broke up with me but it was calm," Demi said looking straight at Joe.
"So both of our significant others know that we were meant to be," Joe replied putting a hand on Demi's cheek.
"Yeah......... I wanted to tell you this but I love you so much Joe I see the rest of my life with you always," Demi said playing with the hair on the back of Joe's neck.
"I love you too," Joe replied leaning down and kissing Demi.
