Skye's POV
The banging on the door grew louder and became more repetitive. El and I just hung on to each, safe to say, because our lives depended on it.
"I'm scared Skye." She managed to find the words both of us wanted to tell each other.
"I'm scared too El." I managed to get it out before the door burst open.
I grabbed onto her and held her hand tightly.
"You grab her! I'll get this one!" Someone was yelling as they began walking over to us.
They didn't sound like they would hurt us. I could feel the grip between me and El loosen as we suddenly felt safer even thought we didn't know who these people were. I don't know about her but I didn't want to take the blindfold off. I wanted to keep it on until I knew 100% that I was safe. I felt someone's arms wrap around me and pick me up from where I was sitting on the floor. I felt El slowly let go of my hand as someone else picked her up too. Even though I had no idea who this person was I felt, safer. I wrapped my arms around their neck and held onto them. I didn't want to move. I felt safe and that's all I cared about.
We were outside now and I could feel the sun hot against my skin. I hadn't really been exposed to the sun in a long time so the feeling was a little strange. I heard a door open. No. Not again.
"No! No! Put me down! Don't put me back in there!" I was screaming.
I didn't want to go back into that cramped van. I didn't want to be back in a car. I don't want them to take us somewhere else. Whoever was carrying me had put me down so I was sitting on the pavement.
"Skye. It's okay. Calm down." Someone was whispering right next to my ear.
It sent shivers down my spine. Why did I recognize that voice? Who had been carrying me? I felt someone grabbing the blindfold and they were slowly taking it off. I squeezed my eyes shut. I wasn't sure if I wanted to know who had 'saved me' just yet. The pressure of the blindfold had been removed from my head.
"Skye, open your eyes. It's okay." He said in between laughs.
I guess I do look funny with my face all scrunched up. I put my head down so I'd be looking at my lap. I slowly opened my eyes. Gee, my clothes are dirty. I need to wash these. Oh, wait, he's still waiting for me to look. I don't think I want to. I slowly started tilting my head up. When my head was halfway up there was no doubting those green eyes and curls that every girl in the world adores, Harry freaking Styles was sitting right in front of me. I put my head up completely just to make sure. My mouth dropped into an 'o', I couldn't believe it as I watched his face form one of the cheeky smirks he's known for. I quickly put my head back down and turned around. Why was he here? I know Louis must be here for Eleanor, he must've come to help him.
"Skye? Are you okay?" He asked, sounding very concerned.
"F-fine." I stuttered out after sitting there for awhile in silence.
I heard him stand up and start walking back around to the front of me. He knelt down in front of me. I kept my head down, I don't really want him to look at me in this state. My face is kind of bruised from having run-ins with the van wall so many times. He put his hand under my chin and lifted up my face.
"Y'know, you're pretty cute." He said, there's that cheeky side.
"My face is covered in bruises and I look terrible." I said trying to hold back the tears pricking my eyes.
I got my head off his hand and put it back down. I felt the tears start forming. I didn't want to cry in front of him. I closed my eyes trying to hold them back. I felt one hit my hand. Damn tears, stop falling. He grabbed my hand and wiped the tear off and started tracing circles on the back of my hand.
