YG.

Four months ago.

"Hyung, where are you?" He speaks through the phone in gritted teeth, low voice, as if he's afraid someone can hear him. I chuckle.

"Why?" I take the last sip of beer, leaving the konbini. And lighting up a cigarette.

"Are you serious about the hiatus? For how long?"

"Indefinite for now. I have a few things I need to take care of." Jungkook comes to mind, it's been two weeks since the accident occurred. I plan to stay here until he completely recovers. I had to come down to Tokyo after the news on Jungkook. It is my fault he has a broken leg and having to move around in a fucking wheelchair after all.

"Damn it hyung... you know they need you."

"Joon, what can I say?" I sigh. "You know why I joined- people will understand, and if not, well maybe it's for the better. I'm just tired of all of that bullshit."

"You know how media is. They eat you alive, but only if you let them."

"I honestly don't give a fuck about it anymore. I'm not planning on going back anytime soon." I take a long drag off my cigarette.

He sighs on the other line, as a sign of annoyance and impotence.

"Where are you?" I look up, a storm is coming.

And it does, it starts pouring.

"I'll give you a clue, not in Seoul- I'll call you in a few days." I end the call, and I notice my phones battery is about to die.

I walk home under the pouring rain. And I don't mind at all, I like it actually. A good way to clear my mind.

The streets are empty, just the vending machines illuminating the alleys.

Shit, it's really cold tonight.

I haven't eaten properly for days. Mostly water, beer and cigarettes. I'm in a shitty self destructive mood lately. It's my way of paying back to life I guess.

And now that I'm here I might as well make the best out of it, I need some fresh new ideas. I can't come up with anything nowadays. Not any melody nor beat, not even a chord to start.

Something surely has to come up.

It's my first time in Tokyo after a while. I've been caught up with my life in Seoul.

Slow paced, I walk on my own under the pouring rain. Rather loving the pouring rain. The smell of wet grass and humidity. The overwhelming sound, thunder and lightnings.

Suddenly, a voice in distance catches my attention.

I turn my head to the voice on the other side of the street, someone yells something, unclear, it sounds like distress and fear. I can't really see anything, the rain is pouring heavily and it's too dark.

I'm able to distinguish a lady on the other side.

And suddenly a girl is running out of the alley.

I can't seem to think straight at that moment, I glance behind her, two men running after her. One of them throws something at her, I can't tell what it was, I just saw the motion of his arm. She doesn't seem to stop though.

The rain makes it impossible to have clear view.

"Oh my God, watch out!" The lady's voice resonates, for me to witness the next scene.

Everything occurred in a split second.

She turns around to see the dude chasing her, a truck doesn't seem to stop. By the time the girl looks back ahead, it's too late.
