Two years later...

"What about this one, babe?" Beca asked her fiancée as the vet was making dinner.

Chloe stopped cooking for a moment and stepped over to the dining table to look at a house that Beca had on her laptop screen.

"Oh! That's nice! How far away is that?"

"Ten minutes from here."

"Can we afford it?"

"Well, I'm pretty confident that my record deal will go through so once I get the green light, we can afford anything we want."

"I like it. When's the next opening?"

"Tomorrow."

"Let's go and have a look then."

"Alright, I'll send in a request." Beca began typing on her laptop while Chloe went back to cooking.

After Beca and Chloe made up two years ago, the couple had been inseparable. They spent all of their time together, stayed over at one another's houses, went on dates every week, met each other's families and friends, and quickly fell in love. It was only after a few months of dating that Chloe confessed her love for the brunette and Beca quickly confessed her love for Chloe straight after. For Chloe's birthday this year, Beca spoiled the redhead rotten with gifts and a vacation to Paris, where Chloe always wanted to go. Beca knew it was cheesy but she booked the trip and made it extra cheesy by proposing to the older woman in front of the Eiffel Tower. Chloe immediately said yes and the two women began planning their wedding straight away.

Beca was now a successful music producer and was beginning to get quite a name for herself and that's when she decided to buy a bigger and nicer house with her fiancée because she wanted the space and privacy, and she wanted to give Chloe the best. Chloe was still working as a vet and all of her hard work paid off since she became one of the top vets in her clinic, giving her a massive pay rise.

"Babe, your phone's ringing," Beca informed the redhead.

"Who is it?"

Beca grabbed Chloe's phone and read the name. "Stacie,"

"Oh, just put it on speaker for me."

Beca answered the phone and put it on speaker.

"Hi, Stace!" Chloe greeted warmly.

"Hey, girl! I'm in town this weekend and wanted to know whether or not you wanted to catch up?"

Chloe looked at Beca who tried hard not to laugh.

"Ah, sure!"

"Excellent! Same place as last time?"

"Yeah, I'll see you there."

"Sounds good! I'll call you later. I've just got to get my luggage."

"Alright, talk to you later, Stace."

"Bye!"

Chloe hung up then turned to Beca. "Are you okay with me seeing her?"

"Of course, just one thing though,"

"What's that?"

"No getting drunk and relieving your stress with her."

Chloe giggled. "Don't worry, babe, it's your job to relieve my stress."

"I'd hope so, future Mrs. Mitchell..." Beca stood and wrapped her arms around her fiancée's waist.

Chloe hummed pleasantly and relaxed in Beca's hold.

"Becs?"

"Mm?"

"I have something important to tell you."

"What?"

"I love you."

Beca laughed "Why you gotta be so cheesy?"

"Because I love you and you knew that about me when we started dating."

"You're lucky you're pretty, Beale, or else this whole wedding wouldn't be happening."

"Marrying me for my looks, are we?" She giggled.

"Well, yeah... Why else do you think I proposed? Gotta lock this hot piece of ass down before anyone else."

Chloe laughed then turned her head where she shared a kiss with her future wife. She still couldn't believe that she was going to marry Beca. She was everything Chloe wanted and more.

"It'll be locked down before you know it, babe," Chloe reassured her.

"I don't want to wait another month..." Beca whined.

"I know. I don't either but it's going to be the best day of our lives."

"Listen, there's something that I want to talk to you about."

"What's that?"

"Well, when my record deal goes through, I'm going to have to go on a tour."

"Oh wow! You never told me that!"

"Yeah, but the thing is, the tour isn't just around the country... It's around the world."

"Oh,"

"Yeah,"

"H... How long will you be gone for?"

"A few months."

"Why is it that long?"

"Because I've got a lot of stuff to do in the countries that I'll be in. People want to interview me, do photoshoots, make appearances, and other things."

Chloe bit her lip, trying not to get too upset. The thing was, Beca and Chloe never spent more than a couple of days apart. The maximum was a week and that's when Beca went on country tours and even that was pushing it since she missed the redhead terribly. Even though they had been together for two years, they were still inseparable as if they had been only dating two weeks. They loved each other more than words could describe. Beca was the raincloud to Chloe's sunshine and that's the way it always was and was ever going to be. The thought of being apart from one another for long periods of time was painful for the couple.

"I want you to come with me," Beca said.

"Come with you?"

"Yeah."

"I... I can't, Becs. My job..."

"Take your leave early and come with me. I want to make it apart of our honeymoon since the tour will commence pretty much straight after we get married. I want to take extra time to do things with you and take you to all the sights and do anything else you want to do. We'll take a proper honeymoon once the tour is over but I want you to come with me. I don't want to be without you for that long and nothing would make me happier than to have my wife by my side during my first world tour."

Chloe smiled at the title of wife, causing her to turn around and fold her arms around the shorter woman's neck.

"Nothing would make me happier than to be by my wife's side as during her first world tour."

Beca beamed. "Really?"

"Really," Chloe leaned in and kissed the brunette. "I love you."

"I love you, too. I have one rule when we go on our honeymoon."

"What's that?"

"That you have to shut the blinds."

Chloe burst out in giggles. "What if I see a cute girl next door?"

"Then she's just going to have to look away or enjoy the sight of me ravishing my wife."

Chloe giggled again. "Sounds good."

Beca laughed then leaned forward and gave her fiancée another kiss, happy beyond words that she was going to spend the rest of her life with the girl next door.
